A bit frustrated because the TAS rugby App is not being updated. In the thirds, kinross won 29-10. In the seconds it was Kinross 34-0 at half time with Kinross scoring quickly after the break. No final score. in the firsts, the score at 3.15 was knross 25-TAS 5

Thanks for this, QH. This resolves the confusion that had arisen in my mind. By the way, it appears that Russell Crowe visited the TAS rugby carnival and tweeted very favourably about it.

I wanted to ask re Shore and the GPS. There are three GPS Rugby comps, First, Seconds and Thirds. Is Shore competing in these three this year? My impressions was that they were. Below the top three, we follow the other GPS matches with interest, but they are not comp matches. Three schools...

There are indeed Grammar rugby supporters still alive! I would be interested in the answer to your question too. There were some references earlier, but not sure what the outcome was. And with St Pats, Riverview and Joeys, its important this year to know which level is playing which

    ISA 2018

There is a timing issue here. Up to last year I sat in the GPS pond. Well, really that little side pond that was the GPS thirds, constantly trying to get some water from the bigger pond. Then last year in the pre-seasons I had to follow both CAS and ISA. When the pre-seasons finished I kept...

    CAS 2018

It was a genuine question, although I should have added Grammar to the equation since they are playing Crabrook too. I don't know how strong TAS is this year, the match against Kinross should give us a feel, but based on last year's results including the pre-season I would have thought that...

    ISA 2018

I'm glad that I acted! The demand is clearly there. As many will know, I follow TAS and promote the GPS Thirds comp as best I can! Over at the GPS thread, Armchair Selector provided this information. "Alright Gents, I believe this is the trial programme for TAS, High and Grammar 24 Mar...

I was trying to work out how to create a 2018 ISA forum. Anybody know how to do this?

    ISA 2017

Will there be an ISA thread for 2018? I may have missed it

    CAS 2018

I see from the GPS thread that Cranbrook is playing TAS. Is it Firsts on Firsts?

Thanks, AS. Very helpful. That strikes me as a broad enough range this year to allow the boys to develop and give us a feel for relative strengths,

I SO hope that High will have a stronger team! Now as we small band of brothers who support the third com as the only fully GPS rep comp, do you know who High and Grammar are playing in the pre-season?

    NSW AAGPS 2018

As always, I have no idea what TAS will be like this year. There are a few more pre-season games - Kws ON 5 mAY, Grammar 12 may, CS (?) on 19 May, SGC (St Gregorys?) on 26 May. There is one irony in all this. I will be moving back to Armidale so will no longer be able to watch the Thirds apart...

After his success with the NSW Country Eagles and Sydney club Randwick, TAS old boy Jock Armstrong (05-11) is trialling with the Melbourne Rebels. http://www.northerndailyleader.com.au/story/5217876/armstrong-sets-sights-on-super-rugby/?cs=12
