    Waratahs 2016

What is the coaching structure for next season? Gibson will be HC. Malone has been announced as Kicking and Attack coach. Ledesma has been Scrum Coach (or consultant). Will he stay, go to the Wallabies, or to ARG Super team, and if so who will be doing the Forwards/Set piece Coaching...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2015

With current weather conditions and road closures, will the E v A game in the 3rd XV competition (and other grades) go ahead? It is not like Bronwyn Bishop will be able to charter them a helicopter to get down to Sydney avoiding road closures.

    ISA Rugby 2015

With reports on the radio this morning of 300 mm + of snow in some parts of Bathurst, The Great Western Highway closed, general slop around Sydney, one wonders how much footy will get played tomorrow. Will Kinross, Stannies be able to travel across the mountains, and will Chevalier be able to...

    Shute Shield 2015

The Player Points for reserves only count if they are fresh (not listed as playing in the prior game). Rugby link only adds up all the players points including the non fresh reserves points that are not supposed to count against the points cap.

    Shute Shield 2015

We keep having this discussion, and it keeps going nowhere. People seem to have a romantic notion that the world is all pure and chaste and "if they build it, they will come". What loyalty does a school leaver owe to "any" club? What actual development resources does a district club invest...

NSW Country - - - NRC Official Team Thread

I don't think that there is a lot of money floating around in NZ ITM Cup. What they do offer is NZ style coaching, and playing in a "tough and competitive" environment in a condensed format, in an intense rugby environment. That sort of experience can't be bought in Australia. Probably...

    Shute Shield 2015

$200K Player payments cap? Good luck with that. Like pure communism, it is a bloody good idea, but IMHO the practical application of it will not work. It will lead to more and more creative ways of attracting and retaining talent, and will require yet another administrative effort and staff...

    Shute Shield 2015

I reckon the wicks will end up in 6th place on 49 or 50 points. 1,2,3 will go to Woodies, MMM,and Hobbits. Rats will probably get 4th with The Corporation in 5th. Shoremen, Pirates, and the others have probably missed the boat.

    Shute Shield 2015

^^^ Ignoring those in the "Wallabies 50 squad", The Corporation can still wheel out Waratah Tolu Latu at hooker to replace the US Eagles hooker Tom Coolican. Southern Districts - Currently 56 points. Penrith (H), West Harbour (A) - Should win 2/2 and take 2 4T BP to finish on 66 points...

NSW JRU State Championships & Representative Teams 2015

Got to give credit where it is due and that is good progressive thinking coming out of NSW JRU. Plenty of kids from SJRU 16B competition go on to bigger and better things in Colts (and in Schools rep footy) and beyond. Good to see them getting some development action thrown their way. It's...

    Waratahs 2016

According to Rugby Link Team Sheets, Kotaro Matsushima has only played 7 games for Beasts in the Shute Shield (Rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 11 & 14) so far, and remains uncapped for the Tahs. I would see him heading back to Japan next year to start with the Japanese <insert name> Super Rugby...

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Hopefully Giteau at 12 for the Wobs will put to bed the ongoing argument about the relative strengths of the Euro Club competition compared to Super Rugby, ... ... ... or it will start afresh, regardless of how Giteau plays: The lovers will love, and haters will hate.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2015

No specific reference to your post @The Sage. Just a gentle reminder that there is a heap of footy to be played before the "Tests". The Qld GPS competition hasn't started yet. NSW AAGPS is playing round 3/10 this weekend. NSW CAS have 4/10 rounds left. NSW ISA have 4/7 rounds left. NSW...

Whatever happens, don't break the blokes selected for Schoolboys. We need them fit and able for the Darkness and Samoa Schools fixtures in September.
