Wallabies Number 8 for the RWC

I think Samo starting with Higgers on the bench at the moment. Samo has better hands and his work rate this year has been a drastic improvement of what it used to be. Higgers can come on in the second half for Samo or Rocky (if he plays like he did against the AB's) and can add some different...

    Sydney Tah Williams

I think you will find this story came from Tah land and not SBW's camp. Nassar was even quoted as saying they were committed to NZRU.

    Australian U/19 v. England

It would have been nice for Con Foley from Uni to be involved.

    Level 3 Coaches . . .

Sam I agree with you that running the course every 2 years would be fine. As part of the process of applying to Level 3 you have to attend 2 coach education sessions. This is also a requirement when renewing you Level 2 accreditation. These courses are open to anyone with a Level 2...

    Digby Ioane

gowallabiesgo I think we all want him to be signed by the ARU but not necessarily for the reasons you state. Digby isn't all that fast in a flat out foot race. His real skill is his speed in close as he steps around bigger bodies and his strength in contact where he will always make more ground...

    Level 3 Coaches . . .

Yes Ruggo I know that in some of the States and NT that coaches are provided with a quicker development path for the growth of the game. The same thing has been done with female coaches and coaches of womens rugby. I understand the benefits in doing this as it improves the level of coaching...

    Level 3 Coaches . . .

To become a Level 3 Coach you have to have 7 years experience and be coaching at a high level. Some guys are rushed in a bit if they are former pro players or if they are coaching 1st Grade/Premier but it is still a requirement that they have experience in the game. How would you like it...

    Level 3 Coaches . . .

I think the ARU guys would still be involved in the course. The advantage of running it by the states is that most of the participants would live in the major cities and would cut down the travel and accommodation costs. Cheaper to fly someone around the country than fly a bunch of guys to...

    Tri Nations Game 4 South Africa v Australia - Saturday 13 August 2011 - 3N2011

The difference being that Smit is/was quite a good leader. Rocky doesn't seem to be able to lead the team when not in form.

    Tri Nations Game 4 South Africa v Australia - Saturday 13 August 2011 - 3N2011

McCalman needs to go and bring in Samo for a straight swap or start Higgers and have Samo on the bench. Elsom should be told to bugger off as he brings nothing to the party. He looks like someone who hasn't played much rugby in 8 months and was out of the game after 5 mins. I think I would...

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

Was more interested with who you played for in BC. I coach Vancouver Rowing Club a few years ago. Great bunch of guys but struggled for depth and missed a few key positions. Had a great time though and would recommend it to anyone keen to play some rugby OS.

    Berrick Barnes

I think Barnes should be there. Covers 10 and 12 plus he has played a lot with Quade so that is a bonus. He should make the 30 man squad and would go very close to the best 22.

Who did you play for Sir AH? Just out of interest and completely off topic.

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

Sir Arthur whats the go with Adam Kleeburger? I coached against him when he played for UVic a few years ago and he was fantastic. Was the best player I saw in my time in Canada. I know he has played some rugby in England but I thought he would kick on. From what I gather he is back playing in...

All Blacks Look Dizzy In Head..Troubles Ahead..

I guess the best example of this in Lomu in 95. He was awesome and the AB's still couldn't win. Some would argue Campo in 91 was a major reason the Wallabies won but he wasn't the only reason.

    Rebels 2012

Couldn't agree more. Seems to be a case of them not caring about players club commitments.

    Returns from injury

The law refers to front row players not props so Moore would be allowed back on the field.

    Rebels 2012

The training group went to Melbourne on Monday. I guess they aren't flying them back to play club rugby?? seems odd to me.

    Rebels 2012

Not sure who else is in the the team but Nigel Ah Wong who plays for Sunnybank in the backrow is currently in Melbourne training with the squad. He would be a good pick up as he plays 7 and 6 and has a huge work rate. Also quite handy with the ball in hand. I think he has been looked at by the...
