The CSS team is training at Sunnybank today and I must say they have some big boys in the team. I would expect that they would go quite well in the lineouts if they can work together. Also some of the Northern players look quite good too. Lets hope they put on a good show against GPS 1 tomorrow...

My point is that if some of the other clubs invested their money into improving their club and implementing sound financial practices then they wouldn't be "struggling" as much as they are. I think that paying players isn't the wisest investment for the long term viability of a rugby club.

I think most people here would like to see the Tah's make it to the semi's but it would be nice to see them play the Stormers as it would mean that the Reds would play the Sharks.

It is interesting to note that Wests have secured funding ($150K) for a full-time Development Officer for the next 3 years. I wonder what effect it will have on their rugby program and the recruitment of talent. It will also be interesting to see who gets the role.
