Sharpe changed sides because of his shoulder.

    Italy vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

Commentators blamed the Wallabies for slowing it down before the scrums because they feared the confrontation. ::)

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

I read that as dressing gown. Fnaar.

Just in case anyone (like me) has wasted time researching illegal trout streams, this mama is live on Channel 10. :)

    I've seen those mice!

A bad week for Aussie sport. Why we keep coming up short.

Sounds like a net win to me.

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

Maybe he's still in bed. He is a Kiwi, after all.

    Nathan Sharpe and the Scrum

Scarfman, that was just an example of Sanchez being a bit awestruck, and consequently murdering the language in an interview, which makes it easy for us to take the piss. Genia knows all about dynamic halfback play, and putting the ball in front of the man. Possibly even more than we do.

Nickname for that team across the Dutch

I am warming to "The Dimness", in honour of the bestest but dumbest centre pairing in the multiverse: Nonu and Money Jim.

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

His foot was two feet to the right of McCaw. :lmao:

He can see Polota-Nau eyeing him up for the hit.

A bad week for Aussie sport. Why we keep coming up short.

The annoying thing is that financial requirements of elite sports are so ridiculously small in the context of a trillion $ economy. I'm sure that international sporting excellence pays for itself, by lifting the mood of the nation, as well as being a vital part of our global brand, which...

    Nathan Sharpe and the Scrum

What a pile of steaming horseshit. Can I say that?

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

What a strange post. Pushing or flicking someone away with the boot is precisely as catlike as Quade's head-slap at the end of the game. If you don't see then then you only have one eye.

Yeah, it's weird. We wave our stubbies at the TV, and demand the players win. And when other teams are better, it's someone's "fault", because of course if everyone was making an effort, we'd always win. The notion that we "always come up short" is arrogant poppycock.

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

That was a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away. Hiding a man in defence is like playing with a tackler in the bin. The Reds may have got away with it last year, but this year every team will have a method worked out in advance to capitalize on it. Quade needs to tackle. I'm confident he can.

    Italy vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

I think this is the strongest XV we can put on the paddock at the moment. Robinson and Genia in form are automatic selections but they are far from in form. Barnes may miss the odd solo try but he will save two that Cooper would otherwise have let in. And he may get our outside backs...
