    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

I can't wait to see Horwill and Pocock run out in the same pack. Together they are going to cause some serious headaches for our opposition. Absolutely amaizing athletes the pair of them.

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

The irony is if Ritchie had of called for another scrum intead of taking the three in the final, it could of ended badly for the Reds. That was the turning point in that game just after Thorn bombed that try.

Should we have a SH 5 Nations?

I agree but I think combining them helps a bit with the financial hurdle. The idea would only work if the PI nations combined had some form of a presence in the Super rugby comp to keep players in the SH. There would have to be a way to maintain the individual integrity of the individual...

    Flashtahs

Poor timing of the release given that Burgess and Mowen don't even play for the Tahs anymore. It is a shame as their acting is sensational. It needed TPN at the judges table as he is quite the character and resinates well with the Tahs brand.

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

That tells me Higgers was far more enthusiastic than our beloved skipper. In the context of that game, that is huge. Given how bad our forwards played, it would be fair to say that Rocky lead by example. I can not help but be inspired by a captain that hits a ruck on average once every 20...

That is dedication Daz. Mine normally involves a quick piss and trip to the fridge for another beer.

Those two defensive centres will be good in attack as they will use their defense as attack. The reason I like Anthony Fainga'a for a centre position is that he is oustanding at pilfering ball and it can change the momentum of play very quick and put our X factor players on the front foot in an...

    Wallabies V Samoa - Test 2011

The same way Robbie Deans has over the last three years. That is what has me scratching my head as Robbie Deans seems to be deviating from the philosiphy that has made him a good coach. I don't think Link and Robbie are that far apart in their coaching styles. I am a Robbie Deans...

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Hodgson got a big get out of jail card me thinks. His versatility across the back row is not a strong selling point in a 5:2 split bench. Beau would of been a better choice but Hodgson probably compliments a 4:3 standard bench. Glad not to see Giteau in the 22. McCabe deserves to be...

Benn Robinson Ruled Out for the 2011 Season with Injury

Do they stock a Fat Cat repair kit at Bunnings?

Nice hands from Giteau to take that off load from Higgers to score that try. That was no easy take for sure.

    Wallabies V Samoa - Test 2011

The best players must be defined by form and attitutude, not reputation. The Reds players have carried those attributes and they represent the culture you speak of. Selecting the players is the only way to infect the Wallaby culture with that attitude. The problem is too many players are...

Quade Cooper - The most important player in Australian Rugby

Happy with that and it will help him being able to be our backup 10 if required. I would take JOC (James O'Connor) before Barnes personally.

    Latest SA 3n excuse

Nah, we will just blame the unions that always have concerns with Qantas.

Quade Cooper - The most important player in Australian Rugby

JOC (James O'Connor) showed promise at the beginning of the year. I think he is the way to go personally.

Quade Cooper - The most important player in Australian Rugby

I think Giteau has just lost his mojo and I don't think moving to 12 will get it back. I don't think he compliments the true playmakers in the Wallaby backline.

That was just a kick up the arse and we learn and be better for it.

    Deans confirmed until 2013

The option for goal was a silly move. What we needed was needed was continuity through possesion, building pressure and actually trying to ware the Samoans down. Rocky's decision must have been a huge morale boost for the Samoans as it had the message that we could not penetrate them.

Quade Cooper - The most important player in Australian Rugby

Samoa kept smashing us at the breakdown because we asked nothing of them in defence. They had the fuel in the tank to go the distance because we let them. Cooper would of made a huge difference as his out standing peripheral vision would of created opportunities that would of made it harder...
