    Richie McCaw

Currently yes. Brussow has been out of action for the best part of the last couple of years or we would be talking about this as a three way battle and the youth of Pocock and Brussouw would be grounds for better comparison. I think Pocock is as good as Ritchie was at the same age and most...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

Please don't bring Burgess back. Phipps has a better fundimental skill set and the game time will build experience. Where is Slipper at? Will he be ready>?

    Richie McCaw

Why all this comparison between Ritchie and Pocock? The difference in experience is to great for it to be significant. Both are wonderful players, period. What makes Ritchie from a wonderful to a great player is how he has managed to evolve how he plays and adapt to changes in officiating...

Sydney Suburban city councils and rain

Litchfield has reverted back to it's origional name of Humpty Doo. They have a B grade side which is young and they are extremely strong in the juniors. They got hit hard when we went to the dry season comp but things are looking up for them. They are a great club. Mate, we probably have...

McCabes a keeper. Outstanding game last night.

Play for Palmerston but in 98 was having a run with Litchfield. People find Darwin hot but not as bad as Alice in Summer (wet season). I miss the wet season comp. Just stay clear of the scoreboard corner of Rugby Park after a storm. You could drown at the bottom of at ruck there.

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

Men to answer your Question. If trench warfare against England Scares you, we have ways around that.

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Congratulations Rocky. That was a fair step up in performance and if it is good enough to bag you, it is also good enough to praise you. Simmons and Horwill were great in combination, scrum looked good. Kepu was sensational. Our tight five played well tonight. I don't support the...

The funniest thing I have read in years...

There is Rocky the rugby player. When in form a very good one at that. Then there is Rocky the person and trouble just follows him everywhere. I blame the ARU for the latter as he has not been forced to earn a fucking thing since they roled out the red carpet for him to come home. He is...

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

No underestimating the boks here. What I see is a team of players who have an opportunity which is a dangerous thing. Wallabies got thier arse kicked for underestimating Samoa. I will be interested to see how Ashley Johnson goes. I like him for his great year with the Cheetahs but I am...

    Picking players out of position

My thought behind this move is that Benny A is just caretaking for James Slipper and wants Kepu to settle in at loose head where he will be used consistantly.

Sydney Suburban city councils and rain

But have you ever cleaned up after one of them? I see local councils causing this, not rugby people. Grevious, when did you play up here?

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

Re Sharpe - Qwerty said some time back that Vickerman would be favoured and Sharpe on the outer. I remember him being accused of trolling. Re kicking - Coopers kicking game has come on in leaps and bounds this year. If we are going to play a kicking intense style of game, just watch Genia...

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

To be fair, I thought Phipps was hung out to dry by his team mates. No support from his pack at all. As a junior squad member in his first test, my biggest critisism of him was he was timid in bossing his pack around the park. Experience and being understudy to Genia will fix this for him. I...

Hold this happy thought. When Benny A last looked like a good tight head, it was Horwill packing and driving behind him. They were part of a domminat scrum that tour.

I think so b but before Pockock hit his best and he was interchanging with George Smith.

Sydney Suburban city councils and rain

Our ground sucks at the best of times. To quote Jake Shatz "it's like a cow paddock". If they didn't cancel games, there would just be pissing and moaning that rate payers money is being wasted fixing them. Cancelling a game because of rain from a rugby stand point sounds sissy to be...

That is pool room material Cat A. GOLD and cheers for the laugh.

    Pat McCabe

No disrespect to the others but it will improve his game. It is not rocket science that when Quade is at 10, he is the chief of that backline. I don't think either Barnes or Giteau can play like an indian and it becomes a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth. A confident hard working...
