    Lions Tour 2013

My only problem with Beale is his pass. When it's short, it's fine. When it's long, I expect an intercept try.

Should Australia go for the 2027 RWC?

As everyone knows, the Lions tour is this year, and the interest in Rugby is already noticeable. Hell, I even heard Rugby mentioned on Channel 9! And the Lions won't be back until 2025. We know where the 2015 and 2019 world cups are and the bidding for 2023 is already well underway. But, say...

    Wallabies Watch

Constructive. Okay, I'll clarify - He held pretty well against Slipper, tackled reasonably well and was as good in support as the game plan allowed him to be. This all stems from what I expect from a loosehead. What did Tilse do to make you think he was rubbish? Was it because he was just a...

    Waratahs 2013

Thank god, two dads is our best 13.

    Lions Tour 2013

We don't know the full extent of the Quade-ARU debacle. I wouldn't be shocked if he was left out, nor would I if he was included.

    Western Force 2013

He's interesting enough, I agree that it's too early for a book. The missus knows I love my rugby and went to the bookstore and asked for rugby autobiographies and bought both Opensides :P The things I brought from it are: He leaves Rugby to be Rugby and doesn't mess around with that He has...

    Lions Tour 2013

The France game, for all the hell it was worth, showed just what structure he can bring to a broken backline. Anyone who can stomach watching it again should watch the difference between before and after Barnes comes on.

    Lions Tour 2013

Say Lilo is best 10 and 12, where is he picked? (I don't think he will be, but it's an interesting thought)

    Western Force 2013

I was reading Pocock's book and he said that he and James had talked it through and he completely agrees with James leaving. No real details but I don't see why he'd bring it up just to lie.

    Lions Tour 2013

That's my thinking, hence Higgenbotham at 6 and Douglass over Timani.

    Lions Tour 2013

We've seen the Wallabies strategy of "the 9/10 is tackled, guess we pick and drive until they're up". I don't think we'll have a second-first (what? :P) receiver at 12. Plus, Dingo seems to understand that combinations matter. 10-12 will be well developed if it is Cooper-Taps. In the EOYT, Taps...

    Lions Tour 2013

I think last year he showed he doesn't care about the lineout that much, but with Samo at 6 and Palu at 8 he would be clever enough to pick a lock who can jump. I think that Timani being chosen at lock will mean we see Higgers/Dennis at 6 and McCalman/Mowen at 8.

    Fantasy Super rugby 2013

Those who remember him, Sarel Pretorius is starting against the Chiefs! There's one of your transfers!

    Brumbies 2013

Of course he will. He'll also select McCalman, Palu and Schatz above Mowen.

    Lions Tour 2013

Knowing Deans but hoping for better from Deans... I'll go ahead with all the players that you could imagine in the squad Note - to prevent being called biased, their just in alphabetical team order. :p Forwards: Props: Ben Alexander, Dan Palmer, James Slipper, Benn Robinson, Sekope Kepu, Paddy...

    Waratahs 2013

There is no reason to not be positive! The Waratahs got better as the game went on and if they just iron out that kick-or-run kink, they'll be great. The back row, centres and back three will be the strong suit when Barnes gets back and Folau develops. The game plan should be developed around them.

To repeat the sentiment of earlier - There is a very qualified coach available soon.
