    Colby Fainga'a

In the games I've seen him in lately, he has been struggling in almost all contact. I feel like he must have something holding him back because he isn't the powerhouse he was before the 2010 injury.

I posted this in the Brumbies thread, but I'll put it here What Jake White and Laurie Fisher are going to do is sit down with him, explain that they can see he is still struggling under injury, ask Smith and Pocock to train with him and tell him that they want to make sure he is right to go...

    Lions Tour 2013

The real workhorse is Fardy. If it was a choice between Fardy and Carter to take the place of Timani, it would be Fardy who got it.

Also, might I say it is GREAT to see McCalman already threatening for a Lions spot. He was really good at 6 or 8 for us.

    That's 22. Three spots for up-and-comers? Edit: PHIPPS! 23

Trials mean nothing once the season starts.

    Reds 2013

McCalman, Dennis and Mowen may well be ranked above him already, and now they stand out even further.

We know one very popular fullback and one well known flyhalf.

Quade's positives: Long pass, takes on the line well, offloads well about 75% of the time Quade's negatives: Falls off of important tackles, only fits in at 10, very binary (aka. is either great or awful)

    Pacific Rugby Cup

2013 season starts this Friday, with the Junior Waratahs taking on the defending champions, the Fiji Warriors, 4:50pm at Allianz Stadium. Then in Canberra, the Brumby Runners take on Samoa A, 6:00pm at Viking Park. Finally, the Reds College XV take on Tonga A, 3:00pm on Saturday at Ballymore...

    Reds 2013

That's the thing I'm happiest about and I believe is one of the reasons the next man up attitude works for both the Reds and the Brumbies - They either get game time in Super Rugby or they are getting it in the local comp.

I figure I should have at least one Australian :P

    Reds 2013

Ah Wong, from what I saw in the trials, is pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeing him against the big guns.

    There's always ACT XV v Samoa A.

It depends on who is injured/unavailable. You know that Horwill and Douglass will be there, Timani and Simmons are the incumbants. Dennis can also slot into the locks with ease. If Timani and Simmons have poor seasons and Dennis isn't picked at 6, I'd say they're a shoo-in for the G&G. Those...

    Fantasy Super rugby 2013

For the Centres, Bundee Aki is cheap and might continue to perform. Out of those two, Saili is probably the better option (AKA I have him :P) A good choice is Luke Braid for the back row. Coetzee was the best in 2012, it's up to you whether or not you trust him for 2013. Cummins wasn't good...

They weren't selected in the EOYT because they had opted for shoulder operations, and for the Wales games we had our first choice locks.

I want Moore in the XV as well, but this is Robbie Deans we are talking about. Not to say I don't understand - TPN is injury prone so you need to be able to have someone come on for him.
