    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

I hope the Wallabies persist with Ma'afu (and Fainga'a) and keep playing them. Almost nothing makes me happier than seeing those two names on the forward pack list whenever the ABs play the Wallabies.

    All Blacks EOYT

ABs team for Scotland game: Mils Muliaina, Isaia Toeava, Conrad Smith, Sonny Bill Williams, Hosea Gear, Daniel Carter, Jimmy Cowan, Kieran Read, Richie McCaw (captain), Liam Messam, Sam Whitelock, Brad Thorn, Owen Franks, Hika Elliot/Keven Mealamu, Tony Woodcock. Reserves: Andrew Hore, John...

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

They did alright containing Carter, Nonu, SBW, Gear, Muliaina and Rocokoco for about 60 min. Not to mention Kaino, Read, McCaw, Thorne and Mealamu up front as well. The old cliche of everything 'starting up front' can't be ignored and if your pack doesn't play out of their skin on Sun...

    Mealamu headbutt

I'd agree with Scarfman. Seems to me that if there's a lower-end offense then the ban can be lower than the minimum of 4 weeks if the Judicial Officers decide as such. If it's a mid-range than the minimum is 8 weeks UNLESS there are "compelling on-field and/or off-field mitigating...

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

Hahahaha.....yep, him and his brother are definitely not the smallest guys running around the park.

    Munster v. Australia

Jeez...I miss seeing Sammy Tuitupou hit big forwards and unsuspecting mid-fielders. He was never the flashest player going round but he could pull huge tackles. Not to mention a pretty good hook when provoked.
  7. Bullrush

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

I was interested to see the loosie battle with Newby and Waldron - anyone know how that went?
  8. Bullrush

    Mealamu headbutt

The rest of the rugby world would probably agree though.

Tana Umaga's son signs with the NRL (storm)

How many contracts do you have with them ;)

Tana Umaga's son signs with the NRL (storm)

Then why click on it.....didn't the name of the thread and the NRL insignia kinda give you some sort of hint of what the this topic was?

Players who boosted/decreased ere chances following the Austrlia A v Leicester game

He might get a call from Stephen Donald :D

    NZ S15 Rugby Squads

I wonder where Fet'u Vainakolo went? They might have got sick of his off-field damas perhaps? But he had some gas in those fluro boots of his.

    NZ S15 Rugby Squads

Looking forward to seeing Brad Mika play again. Some of the backs they have are LETHAL: Ranger, Stowers, Nani-Williams. It will be interesting to see if Joe Roks can keep his spot with some of the talent in there. I would have liked to have seen Anscombe in there though....does he show more...

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

Given that Palu is still injured, I was surprised Kepu didn't go. He's a guy who would probably bring a bit of that 'hard man' edge to the pack.

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

26 - 15 ....wasn't that the same score against Wales on Sun? Wonder how often that happens.
  17. Bullrush

    Mealamu headbutt

Kevin has been banned for 4 weeks - EOYT gone. From the NZ Herald: Personally, I have no problem with Kevy's ban because deliberate or not, it was definitely a head-butt. Still not happy that Hartley didn't get cited. Everyone watching the game saw what he did - it's not that hard is it?
  18. Bullrush

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

I'm yet to see Fainga'a make one big hit against either of the SH teams. I think he tries hard to get involved but when you think of big hits or bullocking runs eg. Kaino, Franks, Palu, TPN, Thorne etc...Fainga'a is nowhere near that league.
  19. Bullrush

    Mealamu headbutt

I really don't know. Depends who is doing the 'suggesting' really...lol. But again, it's not really something that Kevin is known for or takes part in so I wouldn't be surprised if there was something done or said to provoke him. Can't see how he won't get some kind of ban. Surely...

    Mealamu headbutt

Even as a huge Mealamu fan, it's hard to dispute that he shouldn't get some sort of ban. There's been suggestions that there were remarks made about Kev's family - given he's probably one of the cleaner players in the game, it maust have been pretty inflammatory if true. I think the guy who...
