    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

I would have been satisfied with a penalty, but at least you’re on board with it.

    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

Fainga’a with a nice no arms dive at Wilson’s shins. Red.

    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

Beat me to it by a millisecond

    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

Why were the Brumbies not penalised there for clearing the way for Banks?
  7. KOB1987

    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

Brumbies players pleading for a penalty at every breakdown is another pet hate. Just fucking play footy.

    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

Rolling mauls shit me but so do crooked line out throws.

    Waratahs 2021

I think that just means for this season, which was a given anyway. Prior to Penney's sacking he stated that he was going to use his gig with the much lauded Lebanon team at the Loig WC to see if he could coach league. Perhaps once that is over in November he will weigh up his options.

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

An odd one indeed. Wells and Harris both had great games at 8, and both were better than Sinclair who was the best of the 6's. I would have had halfback Lomani on one wing if not for my policy of only picking Wallaby eligible players. 1. Bell (WAR) 2. Fainga'a (BRU) 3. Tupou (RED) 4. Hosea...

Super Rugby RD 7 - Waratahs v Brumbies

Yes. Maddocks has been in team of the week twice, last week and the first round, interestingly both v the Reds. To put that in perspective Banks is the only other fullback that has been there twice, although he will likely get a third this week. It’s not too bad considering the team Jack has...

Super Rugby RD 7 - Waratahs v Brumbies

You are right but he would still be a questionable selection IMO. If Maddocks can be called out for consistency then so can Valetini, as several people have pointed out he does good things then goes missing.

    Wallabies 2021

Sounds very familiar to the discussions our friends over the Dutch were having about McCaw and Read respectively leading into the 2015 and 2019 world cups. Hooper rarely gets injured, he will lead us through to the 2023 RWC then call time I reckon.

    Refereeing decisions

The other thing that would make them think twice about doing it is that all rolling maul tries are automatically referred to the TMO for review, as suggested by Kenny Powers.

Super Rugby RD 7 - Waratahs v Brumbies

Yes I was a little over exuberant at the Waratahs actually looking like a pro rugby team and playing with purpose. Still way too many errors though. BR says it was the coach making subs that nearly lost the game for you, in our case I’ll concede it was too many mistakes. There were 3 or 4...

    about as expected.

Like me, I’m cheering for the Reds to take the title.

    Yeah he was pretty good.

Super Rugby RD 7 - Waratahs v Brumbies

Well we won the 2nd half 12-0. At this point I’ll take that. There is some serious raw talent in that side, particularly the 2019 U20s group. It’s hard to pick a Brumbie that outplayed their opposite, aside from Wright over Newsome.
