The Tah's, Reds, Blues and Crusaders used to play a 4 way trial tournament that had a couple of games played a Coolum and shown on Foxtel in the mid to late 90's from memory.

You have hit the nail on the head there Lee. Kingston does have the traits of a young Jason Little. I am thinking that with the long season this year and with Test matches mixed in with Super Rugby that Kingston will get a start at some stage. I hope so as I am keen to see more of him.

Lee - You mention Kingston looking good. Is he any chance of being an outside shot at 13, with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 15, or in the 22 for that matter. I've really liked the little I've seen of him so far. Also you posts here are more interesting that the rubbish in the papers, keep up the good work.

In my time at UQ rugby club I was involved in quite a few student programs. I think we had sports psychologist and HM students involved at different times doing research assignments. Not that it helped me much.

I'm on board. The change in prize money will have no effect on me as I am usually rubbish at these things.

Jo O'Regan who played in the Australian School's A team in 2009 will be up in the grades this year. He has the potential to be a very good Premier player if he puts his mind to it. Think he is coming back from injury. He's a Norths Junior played 1st XV at BSHS.

Would be interesting to see what trials clubs are playing in the next couple of months. Sunnybank are playing a game in Melbourne at the start of March and then play Tuggeranong at home.

Yeah with RUPA's strong position in the player salary arrangements a manager isn't really required until a player has established themselves with a Super team. Before that players can run contracts by a lawyer or contact RUPA directly and ask them some questions.

Would be great if the Brumbies offered a special membership for UC students. Get the students involved. Kind of like the scarfies in Otago.
