    Rebels 2016

Ellison and Thomson have only been with the team 2 weeks after a season in Japan. As for the rest I don't know. Siliva, Leafa, Metcher, Hagan, Timani, Jeffries, Retallick, Fainga'a, Fuglistaller, McMahon, Fox, Leota, Stirzaker, Snowden, Tuipulotu, Naivalu, Crawford and Placid all missing...

    Rebels 2016

WOWEE. 3 Under 20s, 4 Rising players. That's interesting to say the least.

    HSBC 7's: ROUND 3 - WELLINGTON

Without knowing their club positions, Pama Fou looks like he could be a good rangey winger for mine, in the ilk of the Argie boys who's name escapes me, but he missed last year through injury. While Cam Clarke looks like a nice wee fullback to me. In 2016 neither would be looking at a starting...

    HSBC 7's: ROUND 3 - WELLINGTON

It's all well and good to say success at 15s is not likely to guarantee success at 7s and vice versa, but I think most Super Sides would be happy to offer Pama Fou and Cameron Clarke a contract, and the 7s coaches would be elated to have a Gill, or a Foley, or a Morahan, or maybe even a Robbie...

    HSBC 7's: ROUND 3 - WELLINGTON

I don't think we could look more incompetent if we tried. With Low and maybe Nayacalevou excepted, the full time and academy boys look jack of all trades, master of none. Not great playmakers, not big, not quick just not awful at any of those things. it's not enough. Well played Samoa though.

    HSBC 7's: ROUND 3 - WELLINGTON

I'd said it before, but Stannard looks like Colin Gregor did last year. Sevens needed to jump on Ben Lucas when the reds chose not to re-sign him, there was a good 4 or 5 months between the end of his contract and signing on in France.

    HSBC 7's: ROUND 3 - WELLINGTON

5 bodies, Kiwi carrier and 4 Saffas. Ioane is close, but deliberately opts not to join the tackle when the carrier is wrapped up. Ref doesn't call Maul, saffas realise their mistake and start driving towards the kiwi line, carrier hits the ground and the tacklers don't roll. Penalty to black...

    HSBC 7's: ROUND 3 - WELLINGTON

Mauls require the ball carrier and an additional player from each side, there was only the NZ carrier.

    Waratahs 2016

There was an article up a few weeks ago on Gerrard. Supposedly he really likes Japan, both the country and the league, as he gets to play plenty without burning out his body. Something about wanting to play another couple of seasons then think about retiring, but mentioning that he had the same...

Pat's contracted for 2017, Hanson and Siliva for 2018. Not sure on the contract situation of the 4 Opensides.

    Six Nations 2016

Think Eddie just sees Hartley as his best hooker, and without knowing who his best players are elsewhere in the side, he's an obvious leader for the 6 Nations. Would expect him to have a new captain for June.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Sione can play 13, but he's a 12 at heart. Given he started 3 or 4 games at the tournament in his 18th year, I don't know if there'd be anybody there to shift him if he was fit.

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby Season 15/16

Racing v Toulon the pick of the litter. Wasps, Sarries and Tigers should get through the others.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Ta Hosea (made the Bahbahs last year) adds a fun twist to that side. Maybe Rob at about 197 may pack down at lock.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

While we're discussing Banana Benders in other sides, while Harley Fox hasn't been named in the Vic U20, it's hard to see him not playing in the side, given the tough job breaking into the main rebels squad.

    Rebels 2016

Upon light investigation, prior to the 50s, the 3 British sides numbered its players 1-15 from fullback to 8thman, in the listed order. When the Playing numbers changed (15-9 from Fullback to Scrummie and 1 through 8 for loosehead through 8thman as standard) the ordering of players in the...

    Rebels 2016

Anyway, we probably do need to be looking at getting another lock in. Either Jones will leave, or I think we'll dump the lesser performer of Cummins and Jeffries. I'd like to see Murray Douglas train in and around the squad this year, looked pretty good in the NRC, and Edinburgh rated him quite...
