RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

I agree it was a good decision. The Yes and No was that it's not "really" gambling is it, like car insurance isn't a bet that I'll crash my car.

    The Wallabies Thread

I'd think there'd be some sort of grandfathering rule in place, so that those already in the process would remain under 3 year rule. Optimistic perhaps, and selfishly motivated yes. Sefa has the look of a Wallaby about him, while Nasi Manu and Anton Bresler would be quality backup for...

    The Wallabies Thread

Engo has dropped off massively since early 2014. Shouldn't be considered. Shipperly is playing fairly well though. Sefa becomes eligible end of October '16, so looking at Nov Internationals.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Yes and No. $300,000 was spent on insurance covering the required bonuses should they have won the RWC final, which would have been in excess of $3,000,000 on players bonuses alone.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Joubert has been on a downward spiral since 2013. No confidence in his abilities. Walshy was my favourite before the cup, despite his tendency to love watching his own arse on the screens. Barnes is undoubtedly the best England has to offer, that says more about English refs than it does about...

    The Wallabies Thread

For at least the next 12 months, the World Cup Wallabies still based in Australia should basically make up the squad. Depending on Douglas's injury, the starting 15 looks like 1. Sio 2. Moore 3. Holmes 4. Douglas 5. Simmons 6. Fardy 7. Hooper 8. Pocock 9. Phipps 10. Foley 11. Horne 12. To'omua...

    RWC: ARG v SA - 3RD-PLACE PLAYOFF

Cut throat nature of promotion relegation. Although if I'm putting my conspiracy hat on, it'll be gone after this season. Welsh and Scottish were sniffing around the Pro12, while Yorkshire-Carnegie are playing better than they have in about a decade, I think they're afraid someone else will...

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Team that deserved to win have won. Could have been better officiated, but the Wallabies were still their own worst enemy. Congratulations Blecks.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

It's just classic New Zealand Rugby though isn't it? From top to bottom, Heartland to All Blacks, Kiwi players consistently go off their feet at ruck time, and no ref, domestic or foreign, seems to bother penalising them.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Second try that a far too high pass from Beale has killed in the RWC. Luckily the other one was to Drew against Uruguay, so it didn't matter.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

The circumstances that lead to 10 of the points were not entirely fair, but 16-3 was not an unfair representation of the first half. Nothing wrong with that one.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

18 missed tackles to 2. Sort that first.

RWC 2015 Final - Australia v New Zealand, Twickenham, Sunday 1 November, 3:00 AEDT

Not too much. Read, Whitelock, A & B Smiths and Cane have all been in and around the system long enough that their personal leadership and experience of the culture should keep it going. The production line that is the ITM Cup helps too. Sent from my LG-P713 using Tapatalk

    The Fallout from RWC 2015

Depends. I think we might do it. Hardie, Cowan, Strauss and Denton are our best 4 backrowers easy, and Cowan/Hardie/Denton worked better against you guys than Strauss/Hardie/Denton did against the Bokke, despite my man love for the bearded Cape Town Weegee. Sent from my LG-P713 using Tapatalk

    Aussie Player Exodus

Reckon bringing overseas players into the fold the year before, either Rugby Championship or EOYT would be the best compromise, think that Gits and Mitchell would offer even more had the partnerships had a chance to develop over an additional period of time.
