    Shute Shield 2009

Re: 2009 Shute Shield With Tahu gone, Holmes starts to look a possibility at 12. He is certainly a crap halfback. But he has the Eastwood voodoo going for him. Didn't you mean to bold Tom Carter as well? :)

    15th team

Re: Papworth, Rams, W.Syd. I totally agree that rugby is neglected in Western Sydney. A ridiculous number of PI boys live there who would know the game of rugby inside out, but get picked up by league. I agree that Australian rugby is stymied by an Eastern Suburbs / North Shore private school...

Wallabies v All Blacks, Game I

PdeV is such fun, isn't he? Solves all your problems in a single google search. :lmao: Over to you, Paarl.

Pretty clear what? Give us your run down on the top half dozen refs, please. I need educating.

Rumour of the week: Tahu back to League?

I'm not sure I agree with you fos. not too many of those guys have shown as much at 7 as BR. Of the 4 provinces, I see him being most useful for the Tahs. Give Waugh a breather in the easier games, or play them both on the field at once.

Rumour of the week: Tahu back to League?

Actually, one more last thing - I'm still :angryfire: about the loss of Beau Robinson and Sam Norton-Knight. Is there is a single brain to go around in the NSWRU?

Rumour of the week: Tahu back to League?

No offence to TT personally, but I'm thrilled to see him go. The league solution has been a disaster. QLD has recruited well, and got good value for their small signings, but NSW's picks have been a complete embarrassment. If we're going to buy leaguies, NSW should do it more like QLD - get...

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhns. Who stays at the Reds? I mean, honestly!

Officials for SA v NZ in Bloemfontein

Alain Rolland is a complete and utter howling honking goose of the first order. There, I've said it.

Who will be our starting half back in SA

Gits at 9 again? He'll just pick the ball up and run into the 12 channel. Nothing much wrong with the backline at the moment, apart from catching.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Game I

I always think that Giteau is a fairly hard target to hit. He takes the ball running full filt forwards, but sometimes also sideways. But Genia hit him on the sternum every time, and they'e never played together.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Game I

Got post jase. That's probably what it came down to. The Wallabies played more nervously than our cricketers at Lords. Overwhelmed by the task on several occasions. What else could explain the Burgess, Barnes, JOC (James O'Connor) moments. And get under the high ball, for fuck's sake. Paarl - fair enough to...

TYS Player of the Year ABs (1)

Are you guys awarding points to Horwill for the lineout? Why not Sharpey?

Wallabies v All Blacks, Game I

Joubert let the ABs dive all over the ball all night. Very frustrating, esp when Moore got penalised for not rolling away when he was rolling away and was nowhere near the ball. But I think the ABs picked the right back row for the occasion and we probably got it a bit wrong. The Wallabies...

TYS Player of the Year ABs (1)

I was seriously hoping that you would give Burgess a point, naz. Sometimes you just have to hook a guy at 20-30mins. 3. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 2. Smith 1. Fat Cat If I watched it again I might figure out who was most responsible for our dominant lineout and give them a point but let's go with this for the moment.

    GAGR Fantasy and Tipping Leagues

No, let's get on board with newb, although his form is intimidating (overall fantasy winner).

    GAGR Fantasy and Tipping Leagues

I'm in the OzTips one now. So, no points differential, just the winner of the game? I'm not sure that this is better than SuperBru, but I'll give it a shot.

James O'Conner about to be overpaid

No joke, I wear contact lenses for contact sports, but wear glasses for touch footy because the perspective is better.
