Watch some of the Brumbies matches over the last 12 months......... Valetini is a defensive behemoth, shifts bodies and gets over the gainline, and maintains a good workrate. Wright is a completely different style of player - he's essentially a tall openside flanker.

I seem to recall Swinton being beaten up by Valetini and the Brumbies backrow last time they met.......... boys v men kinda stuff. The way in which Valetini was manhandling the giant Bok forwards last year makes him a no brainer in my view.

Yeah, nah.......... Harrison is maybe 3rd at best on this year's form, but more likely 4th.

That match, and the performance the Brumbies put on for their win against the Chiefs in Hamilton had me excited to see how both teams would fare against the rest of the NZ opposition, but alas.........

Valetini showed again on the weekend why I'd love to see him at 6........... he was able to slow down the Rebels attack with every tackle he made.

I'm glad the Brumbies won, but that last half hour was hard to watch............... Anyways, their attacking threat is still there so hopefully they'll just tidy up the ball control. And I thought for the most part of the match they were very strong in defence. Not sure what was happening...
