    HSBC 7's: R 7 - Hong Kong

Why I love the Hong Kong tournament. Japan was just so much better than Brazil, but bloody hell, Morocco up 14-0 over Tonga at the break. Love the extended tournament. Wish it was viable to do it more often, or hell, even having 32 team tournaments. Wonderful to watch teams of varying rugby...

    Rugby 360 - Foxsports

Kimlin is only a year or two younger than Mowen, who's approaching 32 himself! No one on the panel pushed him, but Payto and Georgina between them said the 60 cappers, plus White, Mogg, Cooper, O'Connor, Houston, PAE and Pyle, clarifying, specifically mentioning the first two were considering...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Hope you're right OT. next time the BILs roll around that'll ideally be at the G, we can look to break a record or two.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

If all the kicks were worth 3 or 2 points maybe. As it stands, you'd be as well going for 3 point tries and 1 point for every kick.

    The Wallabies Thread

He's played three games, one where he got shuffled around and had 2 trys covering up his mistakes, then a couple of reasonably anonymous games, one off the bench. Not yet.

    Waratahs 2016

Naiyaravoro will be back in June. Wouldn't be available to play finals (still need 4 games? Or did it change when it went from 16 games to 15), but if you're still in contention he will help that push.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Easier then. Still not easy, given 31 is tight for the proper RWC, but it gives a little bit of breathing room that I wasn't envisioning in a 26 man squad. 2 hookers, 5 props, one playing both sides, one covering hooker, 3 locks, 2 opensides, 4 across blindside and 8 with one covering lock. 2...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

26 man squads yeah? Match day 23, extra front rower, extra forward, extra back. It'll always be tight, but as long as you're able to cover an injury with no-one (bar perhaps a jack of all trades front rower) playing out of their 1st or 2nd best position, it'll work.

    Rebels 2016

Good set of re-signings. Engo was starting to recapture a bit of the form from13 & 14 that saw him get picked on Chieks first EOYT, Jeffries has looked his best yet and we need our locks Jones going. 1 Year is probably exactly what is right for Bip, he knows he needs at least another season's...

    Brumbies v Chiefs - R6 2016

    Worst WrestleMania in years.

    Waratahs v Rebels RD 6

By my appraisal, these are the Aussie props playing overseas: Michael Alaalatola (Crusaders, Super Rugby) Paul Alo-Emile (Stade Francais, Top 14) Sekope Kepu (Bordeaux, Top 14) Kieran Longbottom (Saracens, Premiership) Campese Ma’afu (Northampton, Premiership, Fiji Capped) Salesi Ma’afu...

    Rebels 2016

For mine, at that sort of height for a back, you need to be nuggetty, a halfback/fly half or so ridiculously talented that selectors simply can't ignore you. He's not the first two, and the last one is guys like Kolbe and DMac. Hope he makes it, Vics, particularly talented and homegrown Vics are...

    Rebels 2016

Yep. Rob made the side too, but he played two games for the full schoolboys and one for the Schools Barbarians against the Full side.

    Rebels 2016

Josh Coward. Looks destined for 7s IMO. Talent is undoubted, but being short, "lean framed" (at least for a rugby player) and not really a natural halfback, I think its still more an uphill battle than most.

    Rebels 2016

My feeling is that we'll need 11 wins either way to get through to the playoffs. That would either see us pip the Brumbies for Top spot, or take sufficient points off the Kiwi sides to pinch a wildcard spot, given we're still to play all of them but the Chiefs. Reassessment is needed after the...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Original Post I think. I appreciate the, what do you call it, voluntary censorship? People shouldn't be asked to compromise connections they might have, or be allowed to usurp potential ARU announcements without permission, or with a heavy dose of rumour and innuendo.

    Reds 2016

Sam Johnson and the Toolis Twins are both Queenslanders playing in Scotland. Ben's the talented one, and he's got his Scots cap, Alex isn't quite at the same level yet.
