    It's simply awesome.

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

tigerland you're much too sensitive. We're allowed to tell jokes. It's only when it gets mean that we get carded. :) I got accused of shit stirring in the Who Will You Support thread for suggesting the Reds deserved to win the comp. Sheesh. People must want me banned!

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

I would call it satire. :) Shit stirring would get me a ban.

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

Tapuai would slot in nicely too. Then we could have Diggers on one wing, and the pace of Davies on the other. Perfect. Now who have we missed?

What's the point of the Samoa game?

Exactly. It's an international. All internationals are important. And this game is particularly important for Samoa. It doesn't need to have any 'point' apart from those things. World rugby isn't quite yet organised to align with the training schedule of the tier one teams, thank God.

    Australian Super Rugby Performances 2011

The Force would have been finals contenders if they had closed out their games.

    Semifinal 1: Reds V Blues

I don't remember him ever losing a game for his team. It wasn't my point. He's a risk-taker and it is always possible. Drew Mitchell used to be the same.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

That team is far from average.

The question then becomes what to do if Mitchell is fit. A horrible conundrum. Horrible.

    Semifinal 1: Reds V Blues

Ranger has the ability to turn the game round, in either direction. He's the personification of a risk-taker.

She has both the voice and hair colour for a Reds supporter. Plus she clearly has some width about her.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Yep. And Ioane is most effective with a roving commission. That's a bit harder to achieve from 13.

I think Burgess was very well used. Hr really made a difference in the games where he came on, and Genia played through the rest.

    Waratahs 2011 post mortem

Talking about injuries as a part of the analysis isn't being an apologist, gnostic. They aren't some kind of shibboleth that can't be mentioned.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

His running in open play, DPK. His pass is nice and fast and he gets to Rebels breakdowns well. But I think he will struggle with the speed of the Wallabies game. I think he'll be slower than some of our forwards and a lot slower than all our other backs. I'm basing that assessment on seeing him...

Which team will you support (Only Tah supporters)

Absolutely not. The Reds have played more enterprising rugby.

Phipps is good but he's rather slow for this Wallabies team.

Which team will you support (Only Tah supporters)

Reds. Deserve it more than the Tahs anyway.

    Waratahs 2011 post mortem

People think that 5th is bad. But the four teams above have just as many internationals. Consider the playing roster of the Crusaders and Stormers. Given the injury toll, 5th is a good result. Sure we want to win the thing, but only one team can. That isn't accepting mediocrity, it is giving...
