    New Wallaby Captain

G'day rhyso, My sentiments exactly. Horwill is almost too thick to be captain. Barnes seems smart and must still be in the running. I hear TPN's no slouch in the grey matter. But as long as Elsom can string a whole sentence together, for example, "they're consistently coming in from the wrong...

    Worst Australian Team I've seen.

Of course, Joubert had little impact on the score, but he is a terrible referee. He let's everything go for a bit then picks up some random penalty to have a bug up his arse about.

    Leadership

Real numbers from Wikipedia. It was one of those things that jumps into your head and you just have to find the answer to. And Mike Brearley's batting average was 22.88, by the way. Transposing sports, I'm sure Waugh could do better than that.

    Leadership

His leadership at the Tahs is 100% proven. They can't win without him. But he is also a very good S14 player. Whether or not the Wallaby players would follow a Brearley-type leader is unknown. NOTE: I just checked the win% of England captains in the 1970s and 80s: Lewis 13% Denness 32% Edrich...

That's not how I saw it. Genia only about as crap as everyone else, though.

    Leadership

Something is not clicking and it's hard to know who to blame: Deans, Smith, Mortlock, Horwill, Giteau? I don't know if this is the right time to say this, but naza, you remind me of Alan Jones. With some boys "in" and some boys "out." Barnes is the least of our worries and TPN has been...

    Worst Australian Team I've seen.

I really don't know if they are all that bad. Certainly, they are playing absolutely pissweak rugby. But each of them is capable of playing top rugby. There's no-one to write off, even JOC (James O'Connor), althogh he needs a rest. There's just something not clicking with them. It really could all turn around in...

How do you pick a good Wallaby player from that crap?

Not sure why Robbo was crap? 3. Earl 2. FatCat 1. ... umm ... TPN?

    New Jersey for Wallabies

One solution would be to change the colour back to fucking gold!! No idea why the colour has slipped along the spectrum to yellow. My high school rugby jersey was purple ... wait for it ... with pink and yellow stripes. Except they called it bismarck, coral, and gold, but that didn't fool anybody.

Last Appointment: All Blacks in Hamilton

OK guys - I have stood back on this argument but now I want us to move on. Some people want Paarl to admit that he applies his rule selectively, Paarl wants some people to admit that they blamed the ref for a Wallaby loss. Neither is going to happen, so I'm going to have to show you a card...
