Or maybe concede they made an error, and start again. I think they were being overly optimistic to recruit someone based on their form as a 16 yo,who hadn't played the game for a couple of years. Give him a year or two in A grade and then judge him.

What happens if Cooper leaves or gets injured again? Unless they recruit a back up,they will be screwed. Persevering with failures is not the road to success either.

It's swings and roundabouts. The reason why they control their destiny is because no one gives two fucks about the game outside of Sydney. I prefer Rugby being a World game.

I think the Beasties can go back to back this week. Woods will beat the Rats Gordon will win by 30 Uni,Norths & Wicks will all win by 50+

If he didn't play in the trials,it means he has played fuck all Rugby this year. Putting a kid in a comeback game from injury on the field in SA in his Super Rugby debut just reeks of trouble. I'm sure travelling and training with the squad would be beneficial for him, playing, not so much.

Hmm,you identify kids who don't have the smarts to gain admission on their own merits. Then you put them in an accelerated program? Yeah that sounds logical.

I don't think many people would object to an indigenous kid living on a mission in Tingha getting into a course where their raw ATAR would be insufficient. That is the polar opposite to the most advantaged kids, who with all the benefits and advantages they have at their disposal.are still...

Yeah that,or he is just another ageing 'hardman' that ends up being a niggler and a cheap shot merchant,as he finds he no longer has the physical impact he once had. 2 red cards in 6? games is unsatisfactory, and it's not really relevant whether it's poor technique or poor attitude.

I think a more accurate view is 34 yellow cards is close enough to 2 cards per round between their 3 grades.

The first choice back up for 10 was an under20's player who played League the past 2 years. Not exactly a stellar plan........

Why? There is no 10 in the SS ready to step up. Many might suggest Horwitz, but my view is Cheika has had a good look and decided he's not ready yet. Volavola is pretty much a discard. Ayoub was the form 10 in the SS last year, but failed miserably in the NRC and is just too small. Who else?

Undoubtedly,it's unacceptable behaviour that should not be tolerated. But as Big Arse mentioned back to back 100+ scores in the first two weeks of the comp may well have laid the platform for this. Clearly the powers that be have no inclination to spend any resources to support the growth of the...

How is getting a caretaker coach to replace RG this season a negative? How much worse can things get?

JOC (James O'Connor) to 10? On last nights game I would be more likely to drop him, than to give him a position that requires much more involvement. Pretty sure JOC (James O'Connor) figured in player points discussions in the Rebels camp.

Nah,he has the assistants that suit his style and personality. If a backline turns over the ball 6 times and score 3 tries. Some coaches focus on the 3 tries and are happy, some focus on the 6 turnovers and the loss of possession and territory. He is in the latter camp,

Undoubtedly Foley improved the cattle he had with the Force. Force fans were ecstatic about not being flogged. But there is a ceiling to that style of play. And it is fucking boring to watch week in week out.

Huh? Everyone knows Cheika wants to see bodies blasting other bodies off the ball. Dog shots have not been a characteristic of the Cheika coached Tahs team. Suggesting that a former Wallaby captain did what he did in an attempt to impress Cheika is just plain wrong.

Bieber certainly appears to be emulating QC (Quade Cooper)'s tackling techniques circa 2010 doesn't he?
