No idea. Who is Steve Smith?

    Wallabies 2023

Quade HAS BEEN a more capable and skilled flyhalf than JOC (James O'Connor) (and Noah). And by some margin. But yes, there is no comparison because you can not compare form from second division to first. I grant you, I'd bet with you that Quade would show his capability when given the chance, it's just that...

    Wallabies 2023

I really am a Quade fan, but I just can't agree on this comparison. Quade is operating in a second tier comp. This helps him continue through the years as he gets older, but his form is basically entirely what we saw from last year. Which he may replicate, but until circumstances allow him to...

    Reds 2023

Adam, explain it to me. Our forwards are certainly not performing as well with the injuries. The stats to the last game give us 4/6 scrums compared to Hilanders 3/4. Those losses hurt but two turnovers doesn't turn a game. The line out, surprisingly gives us 15/16 against the Hilanders 10/11...

Tribe v Brumbies at FMG 7/05/22

Incredibly composed play by the Brumbies. Looking good.

Gee the Reds could learn something from the Brumbies about going into, and coming out from, half time.

    Agree on the goal posts.

    Reds 2023

This is a split from your starting point of the Reds needing to "fold their cards" on Thorn. It's about Thorn going further outside of the Reds, not about what he does inside.

Thanks, MacKay is still there which is great. I’m hoping he is pretty busy right now.

Sorry MST, but that seems silly. Coaching success is certainly directed by the bloke at the top but is fully tested by the whole coaching team. Thorn has managed good things in culture, attitude and physicality. He’s been happy to rely on Lillicrap as the scrum specialist and, at least in the...

    Reds vs Highlanders

I'm happy with Creighton, at least with keeping him developing. I haven't been convinced that he's getting a lot of help, especially from Stewart? Paisami is a big gap, but again I'm more than comfortable with Flook. Another to continue developing. Jeans is absolutely fine and needs to be given...

There has been some discussion that the coaching team have some responsibility over our current game plan. I thought I'd re-visit who is actually in the coaching staff beyond Thorn and Lillicrap. Unfortunately this information doesn't seem to be on the Reds site anymore? Anyone able to fill in?

    Reds vs Highlanders

We were schooled tonight, and not by a very good team, and not by a team that maintained 15 players on the field. I'm not seeing what Vunivalu offers over someone like, Grealy. No I've not been smoking. Plenty of the usual prospects did fine. In patches. Have to agree about game plan, what...

Ha ha! Fair enough mate. It's still diversion though.

It's not comprehension of Adam that is confusing here.

    Reds vs Highlanders

If Petaia is meant to be targeting carries and kicks from the back, I'd have expected him to be 14 rather than 11. Agree with your thinking on Petaia and Vunivalu at wing and Campbell at FB over the alternatives available. Though 11: Daugunu 14: Campbell 15: Petaia 22: Vunivalu could be...

? I lived in Paddington for 6 years. SFS was a great stadium, I thought. Doesn't match Caxton street in my opinion, and of course it's rarely been effectively used for ages. Anything big has ended up in that ex-Olympic monstrosity. Might change when the thing is rebuilt and re-opened.

There's no doubt that the Caxton Street entertainment precinct is a huge boost to any game day experience. It's chews up anything in Sydney that's for sure. Still, for me it means little if numbers are not enough to create atmosphere. I really love the idea of returning to Ballymore, but I had...
