    Rebels 2012

The factual ponts you make there Slim are the reason he isn't really ahead of Weeks. I think both have are down the pecking order in reality. I think Palmer is more than capable of picking his work rate up and staking a claim but I don't think he is near the mark yet.

    Western Force 2012

Funny how Wykes plays. He has the thight/loose balance down pat but is often thought of as a test 6 option.

    Rebels 2012

I wouldn't say Weeks is behind Palmer. He gets a lot of praise on this forum but in reality he played a large portion of this year and didn't manage a look in from Wallaby selectors. Remember they took a gamble on Mafu who had little game time before Palmer.

    Rebels 2012

What did the Rebels not see in Weeks in 2011? He went from rhookie of the year to falling off the radar while they persisted with lesser players. Is there issues going on in the background?

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

When does the season start? I can only presume Quade will make his comeback via Souths which will be a good bosst for Brisnae Premiere Rugby and Souths who I understand are a struggling club. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Super Rugby Membership Watch

The stadium membership seating at Suncorp is awsome. We snagged a couple of tickets to see a Broncos game a few years back. Second level on the Hale Street side of the ground in line with half way. The view was brilliant to say the least.

Wallabies vs Wales, Sunday Dec 4

That all round ability is the reason Benny R is a fantastic player and why I don't particually like pot plant props or pay much creedence to the idea that bigger is better. James Slipper is also proving to fit into the same mould which is great for Wallaby rugby.

    2012 S15 SA Conference

Shame to see the Lions wanting him. Given what they are building, I don't see him having a lot to offer.

    Western Force 2012

Last year of a two year contract isn't he?

    Making rugby No 1

We used to have sevens during the school holidays over the Christmas / New Year period when we had a wet season competition. It used to be how the clubs kept thier juniors playing when numbers took a beating due to families going interstate over the festive season.

Newcastle sounds very much like Darwin.

    Western Force 2012

Who would replace Morty? It is a bit different at the Rebels as they are still unsettled. What they need is to be settled on is their choice of vice and be grooming him for the next step up. This is a great move for the Force and it suits their situation. Sharpe is a good clubman and he will...

    Digby stays put.

If money was everything to you. I'm not convinced it is though. To get a three year deal out of the bloke surly means he is getting a nice pay check not that it is good form to speculate about another persons finances.

Richie McCaw breaks silence on eye gouge

Must be a slow news day to bring this shit up again.

    Digby stays put.

Maybe Mr and Mrs Ionae said "son, you are in the middle of a fantastic career and are very privillidged. Money isn't everything and the family will get by". The blokes situation has changed a bit since this all started and his body is holding up better at the moment. Maybe he contemplated...

Well the Tahs only think they have 120 diehards.

    Making rugby No 1

Sevens is a game that should be taken to indiginous communities. The game really suits their athletic and arobic strengths. It is one of the reasons they are so good at Aussie Rules.

And this has to do with rugby?

    Making rugby No 1

This is what I was taught. Also that it was one of the safest team sports if taught and played properly.

    Making rugby No 1

If rugby was to promote itself across the broader social spectrum it will be amaized at how much raw talent it will unearth. Rugby needs to sell its biggest strength in that its's a sport that can take you all over the world while having the opportunity to develop a career after rugby during...
