The Role of Private Schools in Australian Rugby

I agree with most of what you are saying. Rugby development efforts in the NT are unsatisfactory to say the least and that is where my line of thought has been generated from. I know the PE teacher at the school where my Mother works has tried getting the NTRU do conduct a clinic at the school...

    Currie Cup 2012

That is great for SA rugby in general. Would love to see them get up and take that momentum into Super Rugby. With the Bokke needing a bit of rebuilding you must be loving so many young players stepping up and cashing in on the opportunties they are getting.

The Role of Private Schools in Australian Rugby

I agree with what you are saying lee. The problem as I it is we squander opportunity to raise the profile of the game. The definition of junior tends to lack clarity also me thinks as Rugby tends to focus lots of energy at the teenage level when the focuss needs to at a mini/mod level when...

Australia: now the worlds most hated team, and whinging saffas.

I liked your earlier suggestion about NZ splitting the fine over the haka 50/50. It is the best way for NZ to distance itself from this bullshit.

    Currie Cup 2012

Really impressed with the way the Lions played. I hope they go all the way.

    Bok Coach

What about Naka. Probably inexperienced but some of the things he did with the Cheetahs were very inovitive.

    Waratahs 2012

Bloody hell this had nothing to do with the Reds. I would of called progressing from 5th to 2nd a success for sure. The reality is the Tahs are one team competing against 14 others to be super rugby champions. Being the best Australian team is a mute point. To me calling that success is like...

    Waratahs 2012

I don't this best Aussie side for the last 5 years crap. The more productive veiw is we consistantly come close but come up short so we need to address the problem. I don't understand how consistantly falling short can be worn as a badge of honour.

    Rugby Coaching

We do the same where I live. The other off season sport we encourage our juniors to play is soccer. We find it a good way to enhance vision and coordination.

    Rugby Coaching

A good remedy for this would be mutual partnerships between local clubs and local schools.

Players that punch above their weight.

Cruden is going to be an awsome player and already is one tough little nut. The shit he has dealt with off the field is more intense than anything he will cop on a rugby field. As much as I don't like him, Matt Giteau is a player who punched above his weight.

    AB successors

Kerr-Barlow will rise through the ranks and challenge for the 9 jersey. Hoeata is another lock on the rise.

Rub it in and have fun doing so. What goes around, comes around.

Players that punch above their weight.

For a lock Mark Connors was a bloke who punched above his weight. A big issue for our forwards is the carry their body height way to high making them easy targets. Pocock is the only exception. One thing I like about Dave Dennis is he consistantly carries his body height low and it serves...

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

The duck came on and the stadium of 4 and a half million people were living on a prayer.

    Fox Sports.

He played what's in front of him. It's the Australian way you know.

    Fox Sports.

I would be happy for a fox contact sports channel. If it doesn't colide with somthing else with impact it can bugger off onto a channel dedicated to wimpy sports.

Players that punch above their weight.

That is why I believe we should be re-directing the talents of a bloke like Higgers. Rocky is another bloke who is very quick for his size. Gill, Beau and Hodgeson are all players that punch above thir weight. Alcock and Colby Fainga'a could also be included. Morgan Parra is a back that...

    kiwis and 4 more years,

You have a fair gripe sir. TBH I don't blame you blokes milking that one for all it's worth. :)

    Waratahs 2012

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to the wing and Turner to full back. Horne and Carter to swap centre roles. Horne will offer better distribution at 12.
