    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Nice one Reddy. Like I said earlier, well done to the Reds and good for Cooper for nailing that final kick after some poor misses earlier in the game. Defence was positive. Robinson and Samo were very effective in throwing themselves into the collisions and securing ball and disrupting ours...

Rd 15 Waratahs MOM v Sharks

    3. Hangers (best game this season) 2. Timani (improving in each outing) 1. Alcock Surprised by some of the votes to Carter, but then again that's not new on G&GR....

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

:) I now understand why no one seems to take your posts seriously on this board Reddy.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

You might be right scarfman. It may be similar to the ABs where many think only McCaw will be selected with someone like Messam or Adam Thomo covering from the bench. If McCaw is out injured then a specialist (Braid, Todd) might come in. Pocock will start every game at 7 with someone versatile...

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

BTW I love how Beau Robinson plays and at this point is the closest thing to George Smith and really should be in the Wallaby squad and first man in if Pocock gets crook, but I just don't get the "McCaw gets special treatment" card that gets rolled out all the time in an attempt to prove some point.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Let me guess you've used the same rigorous scientific measure in making this assessment as the "Crusaders only score on counter-attack". Beau Robinson has got the 'rub of the green' in every Reds game he's played this year, and tonight was no different.
  8. ACT Crusader

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Ball security has been an issue since he's come into the side. Runs hard and straight though and seems to have quick feet.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

I don't get worked up about ref calls and the game is over, well done Reds and Quade for knocking over the kick, but to say the Crusaders was on the back foot seems bizarre given Ben Franks had driven a Reds player off the ball and then I think it was Read had assisted and the ball was lying...

What was the warning for though?

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Stu is to the Crusaders what Kaplan is to the Waratahs...:) Good game to watch. Both teams throwing themselves in. Saders midfield didn't seem to fire up as we played 10 man rugby for alot of the game.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Snaffled by the Saders in the LO. Good clearance by Heinz Now Samo knocks on. Saders scrum 40m out

Cooper will need to change the boots at half time. Another miss

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Great attack by Reds though. Creating plenty of holes in the Saders defensive pattern

McCaw just smashed Genia on a try saver

    Elsom: In or Out?

Obviously Deans wants Rocky to be back playing fit and confident to add to squad competitiveness etc, so he's hardly going to say something that puts a cloud over Rocky or distract Rocky from dealing with his injury and recovery. There are warmup tests and the 3Ns that will allow the...

    Force v Hurricanes 2011R15

I turned it over after the Vito interview so I didn't have to watch it....AGAIN :) Really impressed with the Force locks and loosies in securing such quick ball for Stannard to work with. Cruden really upped the ante in the last 20 minutes by taking on the line and picking half gaps. I guess...

Resting Test Players during the Super Rugby Season

I'm not sure the likes of Genia or Cooper need resting. How old (or should I say young) are these guys? They need rugby under their belts, not forced rests. I don't think Henry is calling for any young backs to be rested. I can understand seasoned fatties or 26yo+ certain starter backs, but...
