    S18 on its way

I suspect the conference system is only popular with Australians and the people paying for it. One of my kiwi work mates has dropped off his sport package until the finals start leading into the internationals. He would much prefer the old home/away format as it is more exciting to see the...

    Rugby - not set pieces

Forget the first two tweets, it's Kearney's little injection that does it for me.

    Western Force 2014

I really hope the Brumbies play Lilo at 10 and To'omua at 12. Lilo was killing it at 10 in 2012 before the knee injury and To'omua was brilliant at 12 for the wallabies. But either way, it's a refreshing change from when Cooper wasn't available for the Lions and we ended up with JOC (James O'Connor) at 10.

    Western Force 2014

Ahh, now that I can get behind. I initially though Arthur was somehow involved in coaching. Great to see the force actually making a plan and enacting it. Shows a hitherto unseen level of maturity from management.

    Rugby TV Shows

Surely Fox could have afforded to chuck on a Rugby Club this week. They could use this week to preview the other two conference teams and dedicate next week to the Aus teams, to give a bit more in depth coverage. More than a passing glance at the squad would be handy. I would like to see a bit...

Trial: Western Force v Pampas XV and Samoa A at ‘The Force Field’ (nib Stadium)14 Feb, Fri

Financial constraints make it what it is Shiggins. We don't have the cash to interest a better team into turning up to a preseason clash and to go away to one costs as well.

So we are getting Micky. Arthur in some sort of recruitment role. Pretty weird really.

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

James is a great finisher and has a nose for the try line. But his problem is that he has been found out as a playmaker and a good finisher is probably the easiest spot for a young up and comer to take. I really hope the Force don't pick him up in 2015. If his heart was in redemption, he...

3rd tier is back in 2014 [Discontinued]

So I lost track of time. When do we find out who had been selected for the NRC?

Thanks Gaffa. Shame they are playing 3rd tier oppo in the trials though.

    Super Rugby Tipping 2014

Thinking about it, it must be one each round. Because you could play it against either game, but only one game. If it was a whole round it would surely be a checkbox off on its own.

    Super Rugby Tipping 2014

Oh shit, I assumed you get one per round and banged it in on this week. If it counts for the whole round, a 2 game round will deliver poor value. But it certainly makes sense to have it that way, otherwise all you need to do is drop it on the gimme game most rounds have.

    Rugby TV Shows

Surely could have picked up the first round. But agree HJ, am ready for my rugby fix again.

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

And lays a steaming turn on another team who bent over backwards for him. So long Exiles.

    Super Rugby Tipping 2014

So am I correct in saying you don't set margins in the new tipping comp? There is a column that says points, but I can't seem to click on it to change it. Maybe an ipad problem? The ability to edit tips after placing them seems like a good feature. I regularly have tippers remorse after making...

NSW on the verge of another bailout

As a 32 year old long time JJJ listener, I'm not getting that.

    2014 Saffer Conference

Bulls don't look as bad as was suggested. They surprised me last year. Good to see the Stormers picked up Catkiller, he will be much more suited to their game plan than Jantjies.
