    The Wallabies Thread

Toby is still in the official squad yes.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Fair result in the end. As long as Pocock is ok you guys should win the last 2, which would be an accurately reflect where both you guys are.

Got that absolutely right. Well done Poite.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I reckon Farrell-Slade-Daly is probably the best midfield axis if you gave everybody a blank slate and no injuries. Farrell is the best kicker, and still a good quality 10, albeit not as creative as a Ford or Cips. Slade is just a great Rugby player, and I just love the way Daly plays. Still...

    New Zealand v Wales, Test 1, 2016

The first try was forward as well, so he's got two wrong now.

    New Zealand v Wales, Test 1, 2016

Good game so far. Bit scrappy from both, but the intensity is pretty high, which is always enthralling.

    June Internationals (without threads)

Must suck that they'll all be missing a small number from the French Finals too. Go Fiji, and the Fiji Weegees.

    June Internationals (without threads)

Important result for Fiji, it's part WC qualifying I'm pretty sure. IIRC, double round robin over this year and next, top 2 go through and number 3 will play Europe 2 with the winner through automatically and the loser into the Repechage.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Aligned with the Super Season, and no final a double round robin takes you to round 10, which was the last week in April this year. That gives a month of work together before the tournament. Is that enough time? Obviously at the end of the day, the U20s is a developmental vehicle for the pro...

    Melbourne Rising Season 2016

I'd expect Weeks, Hanson, Fox, Snowden, Hodge and Asquith to play NRC as well, barring injury and Wallabies duty. I don't know what Hagan's contract says about NRC, but if he's playing, I'd imagine he'd replace Metcher on that list. And I think Crawford will be fit too. I also wouldn't mind...

John I. Dent Cup 2016 - ACT Premier Rugby

Only the full and EPS contracts for the current season count too. I think it was 14 plus Wallabies last season.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

French Scrummies try to pull that one all the time (Cusiter did too, cheeky bugger), no surprise he pulled them up for that. Every big decision was correctly made by the TMO though. Both Cards and both our tries went up to him. Was just the on field stuff, like Fraser being 7 or 8 metres...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

There's no shame in being beaten by our back row. Mack Mason needs a kick up the arse IMO. Lots of shoveling, as if he was still the number 2 playmaker in a league side, no missed tackles, but a couple where he released the pressure valve by being less than thorough. Still plenty of quality...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

What's the alternative for you boys? Ours get shuffled round based on availability. Sean Lineen went from U20s to Academy Chief to London Scottish Coach to undefined, all under the SRU contract, as competent options emerge and other positions are created.

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

Rewatching, Fagerson is clearly unhappy with Fifita I think replicating Marlers performance in the World Cup.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Brilliant contest overall. Ref was a bit shite, but both yellows were quite clear. Magnay is quite clearly a very good player, he had a magnificent break, whixh is definitely not a one off, he's a glorious size and has very nice hands, but there must be something wrong up top, while they were...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Watching the replay of the Castres v Stade Francais game. Pat Sio played quite well in the time that I've watched. Poor Paullie though. Back to 2013 levels of puppy fat, no consequential increase in scrummaging, but a not impacting as much around the ground either.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Helps that we're in the same pool. I'd be trying to not do it so much otherwise. Fundamentally it's an Aussie forum, anything else is an tolerated intrusion. And ya boo, you boys suck, Hastings will show Mason how real Rugby is supposed to be played, Kinghorn will tear your backs apart, Ritchie...
