VRU Dewar Shield 2016 - and other comps

Others would know best though. I mostly get my info online, from the Rising and at Box Hill home games.

VRU Dewar Shield 2016 - and other comps

Quins v Unicorns (Harlequins v Melbourne) Same Teams as the major semi. Quins have won 2 of the encounters and drawn one, going for the 4peat. They'll probably be favourites, with Rebels Tom Moloney and Steve Cummins in the side, along with U20s Captain Ta Hosea, U20s winger Ah-Mu...

    Rio Olympics

Thought in Sevens, the Haka came at the end of a tournament if they won it because of the time constraints.

    Rio Olympics

It's been explained why elsewhere, and better, but I do love the Irony of the Anti-Siphoning list prevent Pay-TV (basically Foxtel, but eh) from bidding for and broadcasting the Olympics, but once the FTA network has the coverage, they can charge you for the stuff they're not covering on Telly...

    Brumbies 2017

I'd like him to play for us, but Benny Lucas has left Montpellier to play in Japanese Top League, so might be available for Super Rugby. Still only 28 (29 by next Super Season) so would still be good value for 2-3 seasons IMO.

    Shute Shield 2016

4 Opened Cans or Plastic "Glasses" per person including a Maximum of 2 Spirits per person, I think. Anything else is the bar/club. And if they were already pissed, surely you'd cut them off entirely?

VRU Dewar Shield 2016 - and other comps

Will be a good day out next Saturday I reckon.

Aug 6th 2016. Super Rugby Final. Canes vs Lions.

Shields has knocked it on. Within the required number of phases?

    Aussie Player Exodus

BJ Botha is thinking about going around again? Brave man, switching clubs at 36 after a season destroyed by injury.

    The Wallabies Thread

If we're arguing that players shouldn't be in the squad because we're rebuilding, then TPN is the one with the target on his back IMO. Hooker is an extremely important position, even moreso than the 12 and wing positions people are arguing over, and while Moore will likely make it to 2019...

    The Wallabies Thread

My guess? After retirement. Pape is his personal mentor, and he's signed an extension that takes him through to the end of 2018, becoming French eligible this time next year.

    Rebels 2017

I think TT needs to seriously consider the balance of the forward pack, but, at the end of the day, Mafi's a genuinely brilliant player. Lovely hands, quick, destructive when going forward and great at the back of the scrum. All of our big backrowers, signed or otherwise will learn a lot from...

    Brisbane Global Rugby Tens

Wonder if many Wallabies/Spring Tourists will get a run, and if a few envisaged starters will be held back. Could see some very interesting squads running around. Bias aside, some combination of Sefa, Fou, Korobiete, Engo, Dom and Hodge in the outside backs/off the bench looks particularly...

    NZ Domestic Rugby Competitions 2016

Have there been many "foreign" (excluding the half a dozen Aussies there always are) recruits for NPC teams this season? I know Shug is on loan to BoP.

    Rugby 7s general chat

Thought Speight was pretty shit in his limited opportunities. Kingston deserved to be dropped though. Also agree with Stannard, he has had a case of the Colin Gregors' 2014/15 season in that he's gone one season too long, but unlike Colin (who saw that 15 months trying to break into a...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

I understand why people are putting Robertson into their 23s, given he's the only out and out Tighthead apart from Kepu, but given Toby played Tighthead against Uruguay, played Tighthead in about 6 Super games this season, and is seemingly one of Chieks boys (including playing the 2nd test ahead...

    Rebels 2017

Was part of the U20s scrum this year, which is one area (excluding that bloody number 8s hands) they were getting consistently right.
