Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

It was one of his first games as wobs captain, the taint is strong and lingering (first impressions)

Yeah, a few don't seem to get that for Beale to do his stuff you need someone to do those basics and underplay his hand. Then Beale gets to float in and pick his moments So often Beale does that special unexpected thing but it is Foley who provides that last pass or touches twice to score

I think there will be a few units wounded after last night, it was a tough night

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

One thing that didn't work well was the kick to the wing in itself But it made the Irish add width to their defense which may have improved other go forward options

I don't see any changes except for injury

I think a bit more on time on the training paddock will get the timing right

AAA out with bung ankle, Robertson to the bench

Short turnaround and a really good Irish side, if TPN was about I would be happier with the tight 5 Latu on the bench highlights the issue

I expect this joint to be in tears next week and changes for the following tests

The problem with the NRC and how to fix it

I always thought the only way that the NRC would work and have competitive sides was to have two sides under each Super Rugby side Having multiple sydney sides playing the some essentially Super Rugby teams without their wobs and two sides from Qld wasn't sustainable

See I can't change how you feel, or your mates, or Dru So I don't really care, enjoy the SOO, if it makes you happy. I waste too much time on rugby forums because I actually like rugby, it ain't perfect, but it is the sport I like to watch.

    Wallabies squad for Ireland series

I think it would be a brave move to have two debutante hookers in a test match. But I am no fan of Latu

I thought he was alright last season as well, it is just the normal complaints about what unit doesn't add instead of appreciating what he does add. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

So Mr Samu, is he any good or does he just look better playing for the saders? Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

    Wallabies squad for Ireland series

Yeah they are daylights ahead of the other backrow options, they are must picks; and the other two backrowers (starter & bench) can then be selected to compliment their skills. Now if we had a number of world class 6s & 8s the decision maybe different, but we don't, we don't have any world...

True, Simmons is a quality lineout technician, but if you watch the tapes of Hanigan's work at 2 this season, it has been excellent He has the ability to get up fast at 2 on defensive lineouts, that is something that every team hates - it is high level disruption

He turned around the Tahs lineout from horrible to a strength (I was a skeptic, but the evidence is pretty undeniable), he is the best set piece lock we have
