In terms of a back up 9 I'd be keen for the Reds to have an option in the EPS or the new Academy. I'm a fan of Will Thompson from Uni and think he'd be worth a look at.

Traditionally England have worn navy socks so they are going back to that. I really don't mind them to be honest. The regular jersey is very traditional while the alternate strip is just that. I doubt they will wear it very often, only when they play Fiji.

I think the deal with the Roar is very favourable to the Roar and isn't an income earner for the QRU. The major reason they are there is to show that it is a multi use facility.
