A large chunk of the new blood brought in by Rennie was forced through injury and availability. There's no doubt he would've displayed much more consistent selection if he had the choice.

Disagree tbh - none of these variations really impact the core skillsets of any players and how they play the game, aside from maybe the halfback at scrum time and speeding up (some) kicks. All the variations are designed to speed up the 'out of play' side of the game and address issues that...

Question for anyone with a better memory than mine - how has Paisami gone off the bench previously? Has he made impact late-game? I don't recall many games where he's played but hasn't started, but in theory, his running could be pretty effective against weary bodies.
