Nope, he’s still with the Southport Tigers Rugby League team on the Gold Coast……… Played his first game for them on the weekend. He doesn’t head to Japan until September.

Ikitau had a couple of strong runs when he came on………… Would love to see him and Paisami together in the centres, and while Lolesio had a much better game, I’d prefer JOC (James O'Connor) start if and when we debut that centre pairing.

It’s strange, because last year they had Samu operating in the role Valetini usually plays for the Brumbies in the first Bledisloe, and now they’ve got Valetini playing out wide ala Samu……….. I’d keep both Valetini and Wilson in their respective positions, but am thinking they might both...

I’d keep Valetini in, have him more involved infield earlier/maybe playing at 8 to see if he can have more involvements early on, despite the fact that he finished the game with some of the best attacking/defence stats in the pack…………. He put in some strong defensive work near our try line...

Big Tom Wright fan here, but he had a game he’ll want to forget………

Although AAA was stellar off the bench……… Having said that, I think having Tupou in the second half takes some pressure off Lonergan’s scrummaging.

I think it was telling that at one point in the second half we had half our forward pack defending a ruck none of the French were engaged with………
