Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

I’m not sure if that was the narrative……… I’m also certain that Lolesio’s introduction into test rugby would have also been more gradual had there been any other capable, experienced options available. McKellar was also not in the Wallabies coaching setup when Lolesio ran out for his test...

For a guy who’s supposedly third choice, he certainly played a lot of Super Rugby TT…

For a guy supposedly avoiding contact, he's seemingly had to make more tackles than any of his backline teammates in the past couple of matches.........

    Wallabies 2021

I thought he was our best on ground, but agreed that his passing slow at times as he was doing a sort of double pump when picking the ball up off the ground.............. Also needs to work on his box kicking, and managing his forward pods better to give him some coverage when he does.

I'm more concerned by our ongoing lack of support play whenever we do make a break........... Whenever the NZ teams make a break, they always seem to have multiple players there in support, whereas we're always isolated and then turn the ball back over when the miracle ball doesn't stick.

Interesting..... I thought Ikitau was pretty good. I would persist with him and Kerevi for the rest of the RC. I was happy to see Kerevi pass the ball, even though it looked like he was instinctively fighting it every time.

I think Swinton has used up all of his credit from that half an hour last year........... It's time to bring back Wilson and have him play in that wider channel.

I thought there were some decent performances in the Wallabies, but again too many turnovers, dumb decisions, some good decisions executed poorly and the most frustrating element - the continued walloping they're getting at the breakdown. The worst part of that game for me was watching Hooper...

Bledisloe #1 New Zealand vs Australia, August 7 2021

I wouldn’t mind seeing 6. Swinton 8. Valetini for the next round, with Naisarani on the bench……….. Harsh on Wilson, but those 3 might just provide a bit more impact against the AB’s.

But speaking of actual results - Wright was more impressive in the game we won against the All Blacks......... Having said that, I thought Kellaway was solid. It's the Petaia hype train that has yet to take off......... I would definitely go with Koroibete/Kellaway for the next match.

That doesn't suggest the squad wasn't united though............

QC (Quade Cooper)? I doubt he was ever in serious consideration.........

I agree, they should definitely be lobbying World Rugby to select fringe players from the wider Japanese training squad......... Also, bigger centres.......... BIGGER CENTRES?!?!!?!??!!?!
