    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

For All Black stats, haka.co.nz is pretty good too

What Quade should have been doing

He handled the ball as much as he wanted to. But I wonder - how much harder do you think the guys around QC (Quade Cooper) have to work defensively compared with the guys around DC? Carter made the most tackles out of all the backs with 12 tackles on Sat nite and 3 tackle assists. How many do you reckon QC (Quade Cooper) made?

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

Well, if you believe Bret Harris from The Autralian, the Wallabies are now in pole position to take out the 3N:

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

Ummm...Maafu, Faainga and Kepu/Alexander v any of these guys = trouble I reckon: John Smit Bismarck du Plessis Tendai Mtawarira Jannie du Plessis Gurthrö Steenkamp CJ van der Linde But I'd suspect Maafu and Faaiga getting on the park at the same time will not happen until late in the...

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

Are they going to SA? Serios question....TPN is vital for the Wallabies RWC I think.

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

With the scrum woes of last year, I'd have to say I can't blame you. You'd have to be worried though, if Maafu and Faainga end up in the front row togethre again.

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

The AB scrum was comfortable if not dominant on our own put-in. It seemed the problems were mostly on the Wallaby put-in when the ABs were assumedly trying to put some pressure on.

    It's the coach

Mortlock, George Smith....ummmm Phil Waugh........maybe....... I don't think these guys would have been the difference in playing and getting the Wallabies the win on Saturday but I can't help but think that these guys have played the All Blacks and won consistently at stages in their...

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

It's not about being pedantic. But for people to say that if JOC (James O'Connor) had kicked those 3 goals then the score would have been closer simply isn't true necessarily. In fact, if he had kicked the first, maybe the Wallabies would have won. It's not pedantic to say that something simply isn't true.

What Quade should have been doing

Bahahaha....you wish. Quade should try a tackle or two like Carter's and STILL play as well as he does on attack.

What Quade should have been doing

    - inside ball to Kepu, clean break. Big deal - any international 1st-five would have given that ball. - a shite load of composed, level-headed decisions to pass it wide early to where the space was rather than try something "tricky". ' shite load'??? Must have been too many to count huh. Great...

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

This is always a funny one. Just because you had 3 shots at goal, doesn't mean you left 9 points on the park. If JOC (James O'Connor) had hit the first one then the whole game changes meaning that the second two shots at goal may never have eventuated. It's a nice thought though when you're looking for positives.

What Quade should have been doing

As an AB fan I can honestly say that I hope Quade plays as well again in Brisbane. :)

I reckon it's exactly what you want from a winger. The nuts to back himself and score.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

As much as I love reading that, I think RH is right to be upset. As much as people think that the stats will say the game was more even than the score says it was, I think the score reflected the feel of the game. To me, it seemed the Wallabies were beaten after about 25min. Guys here seem happy...

Based on that game, the only Wallabies I would pick in an All Black team last are Ioane and Genia. and probably Kepu over Crockett. Mils looked old and slow to me last nite so maybe Beale as well.

Horwill doesn't mind a bit of dirty stuff either. Second week in a row I've seen him putting in a sneaky elbow/forearm in a clean out. Franks got it last night.
