    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

I'm interested in the Pocock as a leader thought. Does being flippin' outstanding in your position automatically make you a leader?

The Scariest War Dances - Pre Match Rituals

I love the haka and I love seeing it done before games - the school boys ones are flippin' awesome. I think we live in a society where the basic, animalistic, testosterone-filled, macho instincts of a man are often suppressed and ridiculed and sometimes illegal that sometime men need to find...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

It was only a few weeks ago that so many people thought that Sharpe was the best lock in Australia and some were even suggesting the world. Guys here were saying that he would be an automatic choice and some were pushing his case to captain the team. Now, it seems he'll be lucky to make the...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

Guys....I think history has proven that Super Rugby form often counts for not a hell of a lot. Despite NZ having won most of the Super trophies, we haven't won a RWC in that time and in the late '90's/early 2000's, struggled in Tri-Nations and Bledisloes.

IRB Law amendments post RWC 2011

As Antipodean stated, the game is about competition for the ball. If refs start getting yellow card fever because players are contesting possession, guys will stop competing unless they are 120% certain they won't get pinged. And even then it's dangerous. Look at what happened to Ritchie McCaw...

    Returns from injury

If Drew Mitchell's watching the video of his injury over and over again, would that help him get over the psychological scars or just make him more pissed off at Higginbotham.....lol

    G&GR Fantasy Tri-Nations Competition

I wish the team that you select on the 'Transfers' page would stay the same on the 'My Team' page.....that screwed me a little bit this week with guys on the bench that I thought I had on the field. My big problem this week: with only being allowed to pick 12 players from one team - which 3...

    Tri-Nations Game 2 All Blacks V Springboks - 2011

Go back and look at some the Corey Jane clips on youtube as an AB. He's scored and set-up some sensational tries with his attacking ability. Admittedly he's been pretty quiet in Super Rugby but the Hurricanes were hardly Bruce Lee on attack this year. I wondered how long it would be before...

    Richie McCaw

Ahhhhh.....Frank Bunce. Geez it was a loooooong time before we found another centre even close to his standard. Top tacklers (or hitters maybe) for me: Brian Lima, Sam Tuitupou, Michael Jones.

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

To be clear - I wasn't talking about W/L ratio against the ABs exclusively. I was talking about the Wallaby overall W/L ration since Deans took over and losses to teams like Samoa and Scotland.

    Richie McCaw

Ritchie's value goes far beyond just the number on his back and his playing ability. Something I loved about his play last year was that when the ABs were on the ropes, Ritchie stepped up and led the team from the front. He called line-outs to himself, he carried the ball more into contact, made...

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

I thought would be something like: "Look at this picture of a rugby game and state if a ruck has formed." And the answer is obviously.... Yes - if Ritchie is in the pic No - if Pocock is in there :)

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

Settle down.......3 out of 25 ;) As a Kiwi living in Aussie, I'm claiming the 5th...... it is the 5th isn't it?

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

Haha.... There must be a part of Henry that envys Deans' ability to take a punt, blood young players, test un-tried combinations and give them some time to develop. GH can win games doing this and still get smashed by the NZ public and media.....the price of perfection..... ;)

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

Would the last 3 years of winning SFA be OK if Deans and the Wallabies win the RWC this year? There is absolutely no way in hell that an AB coach could have the record that Deans has had and still be the AB coach. A loss to Samoa, Ireland or 10 straight losses to the Wallabies and he'd be...
