    Reds' Frame of Mind

I'm with PB - I'm sure that Link isn't thinking like this, or if he is, isn't letting on to his players. OBSERVE THE GOLDEN RULE: ONE WEEK AT A TIME. Gee, that's so good, I should put it in the coaching thread.

    Lessons from round 1 (?)

You really value your Scarf Award, don't you WJ? A firm grip, I would describe it as. :)

    Lessons from round 1 (?)

I don;'t agree, Bruce. I reckon we are all partisan, and the dichotomy is between those who know it and those who don't. Anyway, RULE 7 has long since been trampled on, and I'm waiting for you blokes to settle this like gentlemen. Any takers?

    Rugby league in sh*t

I've always thought that League played an important role in keeping dribbling idiots out of our game.

    TSF Tipping: Aussies 2009 Champions?

Can you guys organise this though TSF or Protea Sport, please? I don't want to be an utter fuckwit, but there you have it.

Yeah, awesome. I've ridden around in a stolen golf cart, but to take it 5 miles to the motorway is class.

    Lessons from round 1 (?)

Turner was fast but not quite finishing off; Anesi ran well, but away from support; Mitchell was skillful but always looked capable of big fuck-ups, like dropping it or poor kicks, getting isolated, etc. But still, it was nice to see the Tahs' back 3 having a crack. It add a whole new dimension...

    Tahs vs Stormers

Let us know when you get back from Baghdad, I'll buy you a beer. He's playing rugby league.

Pick a flyhalf for the Force

It looks to me that the Japanese season is coming to an end. That sold release some players, even if only for an "off-season" tour of duty in the S14.

    Aussie XV Round 1

Burgess was only average at his job, but he was doing a couple of other people's as well. Why on earth the shortest guy in the team is most often the one under the bomb, I have no idea.
  18. Scarfman

Reds v Tahs : Opening game of the season

That is an awful, awful, terrible, goal kicking style. You cannot hit the ball straight with that kind of action. Watch for it to go horribly wrong in the next game or two.

And at least on eof Caldwell or Mumm will get some weeks off, so Mowen will play.

    Lessons from round 1 (?)

NSw have played like that for years. Flat back line. Very league. I reckon, though, with some attacking options at the back, we can develop an effective attacking system. And what was with not chasing kicks? I reckon not even Carter bothered this time.
