Weepu dithered at the back of the ruck in that Bled I match

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

TPN hasn't shown a whole lot of great form at international level full stop, so the bar isn't particularly high for him at the moment IMO

    So where to from here?

    The Peter Hewat syndrome....

    Congrats All Blacks!

Hey Missus ACT thinks I'm a good sort :) Good stuff guys and thanks for the congrats. It was a very big test match and the intensity was sky high IMO. The forward pack in the 2nd half was superb and some of the best I've seen from them in a few years. What was pleasing was we played two...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

I don't know, but Wales keep selecting them for some reason. By my count Gatland is the third in the last decade...

    Well done boys

For what its worth IS, I think Pocock and Horwill are class players. Didn't have the best of nights tonight, but last week were awesome against a relentless Bok pack. Their individual skills and ability is excellent. Horwill has impressed me over the last 12 months with his improved technique at...

    Well done boys

Its past their bed time..... I'd be happy to gloat if you want scarfy :) Well done to Australia to even get to the semis. Thought they were superb last week. My biggest concern for the Wallabies heading into the WC was the forward pack. Individually they have very talented players, even a...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

OZ were the youngest team at the WC. If Cooper can tighten up his game and better equip himself to deal with the sort of games like last week and tonight, then I think he'll be better in the future and a much more feared player. Genia was under all sorts, OZ will need to settle on their best...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Not a fan of any of that stuff myself especially the head patting, but its a thing that all the 3Ns sides do (mostly to each other) and I've noticed it more and more this year. Ecstatic about the forward performance, and the charge they took in the 2nd half in particular. It speaks volumes...

    Ch9 RWC coverage

Only problem I've found there is that there is a slight delay and mismatch between the two mediums. Not ideal

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Is that because of all the kiwis living here in Australia... :) Speaking of averages, on average every WC played in NZ, the All Blacks win. Therefore we will win.

Who your least favourite rugby commentator ?

From a nz perspective I really miss Drake... Aaron Mauger was the pick of the NPC expert comments men. Scott 'Sumo' Stevenson is our most animated play by play commentator and a breath of fresh air from Nisbett, Johnson and Ian Jones who grate considerably.

    Dan Carter out of cup

He will only be fast tracked in say the next year or so if there are injuries, because with Slade and Cruden the ABs have two very young players. There's a couple of other young players in Anscombe and Sopoanga floating around as well.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

Come over and have a look and contribute if you feel inclined. I find time for both because I'm not on Facebook, Rugby Heaven or music blogs :)

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

Just watching the 1st half again, the first 10 minutes was played at a great pace by both sides. Habana finish was superb, and the ball retention by Manu was excellent. Bok defence superb. Just saw a Melbourne storm like head high by JP

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

I didn't call you a racist, I found what you wrote had a racist undertone to it and is insensitive to something that the Samoan race find culturally significant and important to their heritage. Given the tone of the rest of the post and your other posts you are fired up, fair enough rugby does...

Parl what great point were you trying to make saying "go home and take your haka kaka"

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

Take your racist, culturally insensitive crap somewhere else. I'd actually back Paul Williams against any of those players you named if they were to go toe to toe.

    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

"Interpretations" as in how and when a ref calls for example that a ruck is over, or when a ref calls to a halfback to "use it" when a maul is stagnant, or when a player needs to release. The way the ref interprets on the day is all that matters, not what the same ref did last week, last month...
