    Reds v Stormers - Super Rugby Round 9, 2012

One thing I don't like about the 2012 Reds is the kick chase. They advance like snails towards the ball and put no pressure on the opposition. They should be trying to turn a bad kick into a good one through a good chase. We have some of the fastest outside backs in the comp but we advance...

    aus front row

This question will be better answered when the Tahs play the Brumbies. You need to select props with the full package full stop. The game is just to quick these days to carry low workrate players. Palmer has been immensly improved in his workrate this year. As for Hooker, Moore is well ahead...

    Peter de Villiers - Jobless.

He should go to Japan and assist Eddie Jones. I would love to be a fly on the wall at those training sessions. I heard the Easter Island second 15 is in the market for a coach.

    Rebels well in this.

Waratahs Fans going to Brisbane for the Reds game PLEASE READ!

I thought he was the bastard that hoggs all the party pies.

    Reds v Stormers - Super Rugby Round 9, 2012

I don't think we can expect players who have been out for some time to move straight into the starting 15. Must come back via the bench or club rugby if it is underway.

The Physical Strength of Australian Players

I am standing by for Bruce Ross to see this thread. ;) This is a strange one as last year teams did physically dominate others. Reds did the Stormers and Tahs did the Chiefs. This year I would say the Brumbies are showing up physically. They are showing to be both fit and strong.

    Quade Coopers Recovery

Good on Quade. One thing that seems consistant through his recovery is he has constantly been contributing to rugby whether it be running opposition at training, taking on extra PR work (doing plenty of the guest commentator work), running the water or just getting amongst the fans as he did...

    Hooper to Waratahs

This thread is digressing somewhat from its subject matter. Maybe a new thread fellas. Congratulations on the Tahs getting him home. Good for Aussie Rugby as the Brumbies have Fainga'a who also has piles of potential. Our 7 prospects in a national context are very positive indeed.

    Dan Carter's 100th

A big congratulations to Dan Carter who will play his 100th game today. Absolute champion who is dedicted, humble and a fantastic amasador for rugby in general. I don't know Dan Carter personally from a bar of soap but he seems a genuine all round good bloke. Congratulations on the milestone.

Richard Graham to quit the Force and join the Reds

Congratulations on your first post and welcome to the forum. Please don't presume to know what I know as that is just bull. Whether I have taken Woody out of context or not I don't particually care. Woody was unproffessional to put himself in that situation in the first place. I think it...

Richard Graham to quit the Force and join the Reds

If I was a Force player I think I would want Woody's arse booted out the door. Look at some of the things he has said. 1/ He wants to go to a rugby strong state. (implying there is something wrong about WA rugby) 2/ He wants to go to a team that has one the won a title I don't blame any...

    Western Force 2013

Could Johnny Wilkinson be tempted to try his hand at Super Rugby before hanging his boots up for good?

    Reds v Stormers - Super Rugby Round 9, 2012

Congratulations PB on the Stormers win. They reminded me of the Reds last year in how well they used the width of the field and how organised they were with ball in hand. Not great when they do it to the team you love but you just got to take your hat off to quallity rugby like that. I have...

Richard Graham to quit the Force and join the Reds

Wow, this has been a shock. The Reds have their business in good order these days and I fully trust them on this decision. Welcome aboard Woody. All I ask is that can he bring Nick Styles back with him. Re Pocock, as great as it would be to recruit him, I still would prefer using those...

    Reds v Stormers - Super Rugby Round 9, 2012

I like your thoughts with one exception. Bring two backs straight into the starting 15 means we would be best with a 4:3 split on the bench. It is to risky not to.

    Reds v Stormers - Super Rugby Round 9, 2012

After watching the Saders game, one area that can be exploited is the inside ball. The Stormers drift rather fast in defence.

Pat Lam Fronts Up Over The Blues

This has all become way off the real topic which is why are the Blues underperforming? The Blues have been in strife since 2003 when they last won the title under Henry. That says the franchise has a culture problem and not the fault of one man. Other sides have this issue and other side have...

Force v Waratahs Friday April 13th

I think that will keep the fans happy but a systematic destruction of the Rebels forwards will be a better option. Start thinking a week ahead and they will become a serious chance of getting rolled.

S15R8 Crusaders vs Stormers @ New Christchurch Stadium, Christchurch

I have Tom Taylor in mine for no other reason that we share the same sir name. I feel like I just stumbled onto a gold mine.
