Maitland? Hmm. OK. Who knows. I have read a couple of places that he is thinking of playing Hogg or Halfpenny on the wing anyway so Maitland won't make the first XV. Visser still a better player for mine. Maybe he is thinking some local knowledge will help?
No 3rd flyhalf. Risky if one pulls up...
I don't think mauls outide the 22 get pulled down nearly as much.
Unless you're Ben Franks. He just pulls anything down. Scrums, mauls. you name it. :)
All the talk in Bulls country was that he allowed to Tahs to got offside all night and that is why the Bulls struggled to score deep into phases. So yes, they found it. I get all the scoop from my secret agent in Pretoria, otherwise known as my mother. :D
Too right he sucked both ways and does not deserve to ref at this level although I can understand that the powers that be want an Argie ref primed for test rugby. I suspect we are going to be stuck with this guy. He should take English lessons. Then read the rulebook again.
Cheika is making a...
This ref is questionable but the Bulls should have been up by more at half time. They had the momentum but a combination of small errors when it mattered and the Tahs strategy of rather giving away the penalty in their own 22 paid off. Three of the penalties Steyn kicked were from blatant...
He allowed the Canes forwards to take the space beyond the ruck for 80 minutes, sack just about every maul (should have had more cards, specifically immediately after the one he gave Itchyfanny), coming in from the side and Franks was infringing in just about every play. What an absolute fucking...
It's Loftus. It's Steyn. You could have Santie Claus at 15 and he'll be getting bombs all day.
The Bulls dealt with the Kingz so easily because they dominated the collisions all day. That way Steyn get loads of time. But the did something they barely ever did on tour. Steyn took a lot of ball...
Nonsense.
Easy answer. COmpletely different approach. Balls went ot back of the line out, rucks were cleared quickly, two first receivers, Steyn passed, limited pick and go.
