Did Turinui just drop that new tackle height laws will be announced in the next couple of weeks?

Yeah just had a quick look at the MID - very restrictive. No scope for any form of adjacent development or commercial activity. Explains why they're going with food trucks at the venue too, instead of food/bev facilities. The issue of insufficient public transport, and significant investment...

Anecdotally (my mum lives just up the road), the Wests redevelopment including Pitch & Fork has really boosted their image within the surrounding community. Having a local joint with a nice vibe and good food and coffee really helps to offset the negative feelings around parking/traffic and noise.

Granted, a bistro/dining venue at Ballymore has legs. Close proximity to lots of residents and businesses, space for expansion and parking, could help drive local engagement with the venue (and get residents onside) - in a similar vein to Pitch & Fork at Wests, which does a roaring trade...

    Reds v Brumbies - Take 1

His listed weight is 98kg, and we know how they can be. Reasonably lean for 196cm, and a very different composition to Kerevi. For comparison, Petaia is listed as 98kg and 190cm. Can still bend a line, but I can’t see the similarity to Kerevi. As you said, we’ll see

Wests, UQ, and Sunnybank are ~30min away - not that close, especially with traffic, but definitely not too far if someone's keen

I was meaning over their history of head coaches - Nucifora, Rea, and McKellar are all QLD products. Not sure how that can be, seeing as we're too busy resting on our Lauries laurels

Bit awkward that 1/3 of their head coaches have come from QLD then isn't it?

Idk the QLD rugby pathways seem to work pretty well for you guys, seeing as your team last week had 7 players who came through them

I believe the term is quietly confident - pretty standard from Reds fans these days ;) In all seriousness though, it's got all the makings of a belter. Reds by 3.

If Quade is fit - and it looks like he will be - he's going.

    Reds 2023

The upgrade took it to 9400 seats with 10k capacity. No doubt there were understandings and agreements to play elsewhere, but I'm not sure playing less than 30% of 'home' games at the actual home ground was expected.
