A great game of rugby ruined by one of the worst referreeing displays I've seen. I don't know where the found this guy, but I hope we never see him again.

Wouldn't you think that after the year that they've had that the ARU would latch onto this game for all its worth and squeeze every ounce of good publicity out of it? I also seem to remember some months ago that the ARU held a fan poll to decide the kick-off time and the identity of a club...

They probably don't have enough money left to put the word Australia on the building. Maybe I've missed something, or possibly my education was lacking, but I've never known that AU stood for Australia. USA, UK, DPRK, NZ, RSA, PRC I get, but AU? Or maybe it's phonetic, "ey you":)

They appointed the coach. I always thought that your firm and unshakeable view was that on field performance had absolutely no conection to the competance or otherwise of the administration? And they seem to have changed their name from the ARU.;)

Probably a passing shower at most during the game, but Brisvegas has had about 100 mm of rain this week. Although Suncorp does drain quite well, so I wouldn't be expecting too heavy a track.

I'll be back for kick-off. I tend to avoid the half hour pre-game "expert" analysis. (and I use the term expert loosely)

According to a map I just looked at, it's 397 km from Bloemfontein to Johannesburg (Canberra to Sydney is 287 km). I'd be surpised if they piled on a bus for a 4-5 hour bus trip before flying from Johannesburg to Sao Paulo (a distance of 7435 km)...

I'm not sure that there is any training that can deal with this particular issue. And the way TRC works, we always finish with an away game in SA and then a 7 day break to get to Argentina for the last game. There is no direct flight from South Africa to Argentina. Most international flights...

Over 30 hours in the air spread out over 3 days to get from Bloemfontein to Johannesburg, to Sao Paulo to Buenos Aries to Mendoza. After playing at altitude, it's a physically very taxing experience.
