Australian Sport TV Ratings.. Rugby Falling

If you leave the tv on while you're out, will they know you're not watching it?

Australian Sport TV Ratings.. Rugby Falling

Do the stats taken for the Super games count those watching it abroad? Reason being, you're taking out a huge segment of those watching the game because their team is playing an Australian team. For instance, when the Reds played the Stormers, you're going to have all those fans concerned about...

    Hore's brain-fart

By playing a contact sport, you accept that there will be consequences like being tackled hard or hurt in unintentional ways. There has been cases from memory where a player has successfully won a claim for assault for damage that occurred outside the accepted level of "assault". I would dare...

Perhaps with his time off Gimli can be given time off to fight Quade in February? Who knows, it might knock some sense into QC (Quade Cooper).

Quade telling it how it is

Excuse my ignorance, but is there really that much money left in Boxing any more? Especially a boxing match within Australian, between two nobodies?

Quade telling it how it is

Is it being held at Balleymore or some random location?

Quade telling it how it is

We shouldn't accept the behaviour, but the ARU set the precedent early in the Musketeers careers that they're the golden children and swept everything under the rug. So it's no surprise that there are a few hiccups along the way. Instead of setting the tone early on that shenanigans aren't going...

Quade telling it how it is

Selective memory? Must have forgotten how Beale got stood up by Dagg in the first Bledisloe. Too long ago? Well there's the time he didn't even touch Michalak in a game in Paris. You must have also forgotten how Beale kicked the ball dead from a kick off on the weekend to. All players make...

Quade telling it how it is

I'm curious to know when Nasser/Quade think he'll have time to box and head over to Japan for a stint? This coming year is going to be jammed packed with Rugby, so when is he going to have time for a punch up?

Quade telling it how it is

Same, I'm calling the bluff. It devalues you're client if the opposite party knows you've got no where else to go.

    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

If we lose two games in the pool we don't deserve to even progress out of it. France had to play New Zealand in the pool matches and they ended up in the final against same with the 2007 World Cup with England and South Africa. If we can't go through the Rugby World Cup campaign undefeated...

    Wallaby injuries: poor diet?

I'll have to go looking for it (I could have sworn someone posted it on G&GR) that the Grog doesn't effect fitness as much as it does with muscle recovery. Managed to find it: Link to the study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22836602 Link to the new article about it...

Questions for Luke Burgess, Podcast Guest

With his time in the Wallaby set up, how much training was directed at improving their skills? Was there any emphasis placed on improving base skills like passing, catching high balls or was it left to the states to work on this? Back line moves - who came up with them, who called them during...

    Wallaby injuries: poor diet?

To be fair, I've seen both Franks brothers and a few of the other AB's at Nandos the day before the game. The amount of chicken just infront of Owen alone would have fed an entire schoolboy 1st XV! What I'd be curious to know is, how much piss are our lads sinking.

    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

I would have taken a clearing touch from Barnes in our 22 than another Beale chip and fail.

A hiding it may not be, but a loss to the poms stings no matter what the scoreline is. Especially if Christ Ashton scores a meat pie.

Australia v. France 10 Nov 2012 Stade de France, Paris

So, the last time the Wallabies scored a try was in the 65th minute against Argentina. Since then, we've gone two games trying to get a five pointer. If you include the remaining time in the Argentina game, over 175 minutes without a try.

Key Wallaby Players to be Rested and Rotated throughout S15

Are we sure the medical staff advising the ARU is up to scratch? Drew Mitchell's surprise run left a few specialists scratching their head when I spoke to them and then he returned back to the game with a snapped tendon that wasn't picked up.
