    Waratahs V Force - Superugby Rd 4

Well I havent seen the whole game. Credit to the Force but what I've seen so far the Tahs have been woeful (if indeed thats the way they've been playing all game).

    Chiefs v Brumbies Super Rugby R4 2012

For the Chiefs I thought Messam did a truck load of work yet again & Retallick was very handy come line-out time with a few good steals. The handling errors were the biggest issue for the Chiefs IMO.

    Chiefs v Brumbies Super Rugby R4 2012

Impressive defensive effort from the Brums, great maul too. Chiefs were not as intense as prior weeks but did look very good in attack at times. SBW made up for his shocking kick with a few great runs. A loss but lots of positives for the Brumbies & the Chiefs will be happy to get a win out of...

    Women's Rugby Union

Love that story Jnor. Good stuff from Lou.

    Women's Rugby Union

Cool, well I'll try to get what I can. Helps when you've got internationals at your club! I'm sure at least on the Hunter/Newcastle front I can get some info. I also have some details on women's rugby from the 60's I believe. So perhaps in time this may branch out from international women's...

    Women's Rugby Union

I'd love if you can do that SRF, I have a twitter account but I'm still quite Twitter illiterate. I'd say Amanda has more of an idea about some of the players than me as I could only identify 1 current player (I have known more from the past but they are not listed in the current squad). I...

    Waratahs 2012

Just saw a small segment on Drew Mitchell on Fox sports. He had a primary school kid take him to his school for show-&-tell & then he signed autographs & handed out Waratah back packs. He may be injured but he's still doing great work off the field. Most people would expect this anyways but I...

    Identifying Signatures

Not on signatures but about sponsors on the chest of the Wallabies jersey (ideal not realistic scenario here but...) I think a well designed "Green & Gold Rugby" print would look tops on the Wallaby jersey...

    Women's Rugby Union

Yeah, I'm sure she's fine. I'm just in a crook mood lately given some of the developments recently. I agree it was probably an over site. All that being said I'd like to see some women get involved who actually played Rugby - albeit we may need to wait a few years (I was certain a former...

    Women's Rugby Union

Watching Fox sports right now. I cant remember the woman's name but they were talking to a woman on the waratah board, first in over 100 years. Fantastic, but when they ran through the list of women contributing to Rugby, yet again just about everyone from orange cutter to girlfriends of players...

    Laffan Cup 2012 - Saturday 17th of March 2012

Go the horse! University of Newcastle! Alas I will be celebrating St Paddys with family in Newcastle but I think we'll have some people going down to support our guys on the day.

Reds vs Sharks Rnd 4 2012

This is what happens when you are the current champs, expectations rise. It's only natural. I agree with you though, winning ugly in the early part of the season is fine given there is time to develop in the later rounds. People need to be patient. IMO, perhaps stating the obvious but both...

    Sevens Rugby at Prairiewood high

Mixed emotions. Happy to see more girls involved & at this age group I believe 7's is a good format (prefer 10's though, give the bigger girls a chance please) but as I've said in the "womens rugby thread" elsewhere that 15's needs to be encouraged to these girls as they get older. 15's will...

    Women's Rugby Union

    1) That is fantastic from the Brumbies. 2) The benefits would be huge if we regularly played NZ in 15's tests, not only for internationals but those rep players getting that experience then coming back into club - would make the club competitions even stronger. One of the reasons my local club...

    Women's Rugby Union

I read the link Amanda thanks for adding that. Scrum Queens is a very good site for women's Rugby. Their plans for 7's are good but TBH their plans for the real version of the game are very poor. They seem to be going for quantity of player pool over quality of player pool. Oh & just to add...

    2012 Super Rugby Injury List

True that, that's horrible news on top of Rene being suspended for x2 weeks.

    Women's Rugby Union

Exactly Bruce. Also, picking League over Rugby 7's for me is a real "pick the lesser of two evils" scenario. 15's has to be preserved & grown, by all means get the girls into 7's in highschool (I'd prefer 10's) & even attempt to get them into sevens in primary school if their parents don't let...
