Has Super Rugby Expanded to Quickly?

That's all well & good for you & the people of Sydney but for the people of NSW outside of Sydney a lot of people simply would not give a shit. That being said Rugby in NSW is already so Sydney-centric then maybe it wont make any difference if it got any worse. For me personally I'm not...

    Digby banned for five weeks

My interpretation of a spear tackle must be different to the IRB laws.

    Digby banned for five weeks

Wow, I thought 2 weeks at the absolute max. 5wks I would have thought would be spear tackle territory. Reds fans have every right to be mad, if it were my team I'd be pissed off.

How does this help Australian Rugby.

On the point of hookers in their 30's two good examples Andrew Hore (33) & Jason Rutledge (34). Both very good players.

How does this help Australian Rugby.

I agree very much with Sir Arthur. If I'm a coach at for e.g. the Rebels & I have a contract where I must deliver some significant improvement in playing performance during that contract then I am going to look at players available that are going to give me the best chance of achieving this...

Reds vs Sharks Rnd 4 2012

You flatter us, lol. I'm sure you would've made an awesome Rugby player SFR. If you could have your time again & had been allowed to play Rugby what position do you think you would've liked to play? A lot of people underestimate the damage Netball does to ankles & knees. I have never played...

2012 S15 New Kids on the Block

I cant quite put my finger on it but Kingi looks 'emo' to me. Certainly doesnt play like an emo though, way too enthusiatic. I really hope they put him at 9 more & not back out to the wing. He has been dynamo playing out of the scrumhalf spot. I agree with the Pig that he is looking more & more...

    G&GR Fantasy Rugby Competition 2012

I had both, happy days! Made up for having Beale in my starting side. Le Roux despite his yellow card scored pretty well too.

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

I think I'll just take your word for it Slim & move on. On the Cheetahs, Ashley Johnson really gave them some extra go forward there & Strauss also, not just at the end but for most of the game (for Strauss anyhow). Brussow also had some good steals at breakdown time too as per usual.

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

Rebels should win this with a penalty......or a Cheetahs try to win it for the Cheetahs.....I was totally just about to say that.......LOL. :) Oh good on the Cheetahs, given their heart breaking loss last week right at the end. Nice to see them get one that way themselves. Gutted for the...

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

I don't think the law book lists that a card should be given more or less simply because its in a different 'context'. We disagree, I'm leaving it at that, these law arguments turn into shit fights & my lingering St Paddys day hang over hasnt got me in the mood for lively discussion. Rebels...

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

Sure that was Kingi there on the spot to force that penalty, good play.

    Doesnt Berrick wear them too?

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

If the game gets replayed then you will see earlier in the 1st half that the Cheetahs had been given advantage, Rebels got the ball, the pill gets passes to Huxley who knocks on but then boots the ball down field (obviously he would have known since the Rebels had got a hold of the ball that the...

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

So I guess Huxley should have been carded as well. The see-saw continues now 26-all. Momentum with Rebels still though.

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

Kingi to the wing. Hux off. 62min in Le Roux gets pinged for kicking the ball into the stands, gets penalised. Huxley did the same thing in the first half & no extra 10m awarded on top for the Cheetahs. O'Connor nails the penalty.

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

O'Connor over. Nice try to the Rebels. Cheetahs gone off the boil again.

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

Thats better from the Rebels. Great runs from Hux, O'Connor, Vuna.

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

They had infiltrated the Brumbies/Force game too in round 2 given the boos I heard when the Brumbies were putting up a few kicks. Lets face it, we are living in the age of the boo crowd, Tahs 'fans' have just taken the mantle as the best at this 'art'.

    Rebels v Cheetahs - Round 4 - Super Rugby 2012

On the positive for the Rebels O'Connor has been very good, he's trying everything. Interesting to see if the Cheetahs will go on with it now in the second half. I was tossing up between these two, leaning more toward the Cheetahs but just didnt know whether they'd go to sleep again at times...
