    2012 6 Nations

Half time France 9 England 14. A bit of red mist from Aston gave a away an easy penalty, then a late penalty brought France back within touching distance. The big difference between the teams has been the last ditch cover defence. England's has been excellent while France's has been...

    2012 6 Nations

20 minutes gone France 3 England 14. It's all England on the scoreboard but the game is a lot tighter than it would seem. Great tackle form Ashon to stop the ball going out wide when the French had a 3 man overlap lead to a mistake from the French and Tuilagi doing really well to sprint to the...

    Graham Henry joins Pumas

I think it's a great move by Henry really protects his reputation. If Argentina lose every game, well most people expected that to happen, so no loss of face. If Argentina cause a few upset, which I think is very likely, Henry gets some of the credit. Very shrewd. Also it gives him time to...

    2012 6 Nations

Just noticed this on the BBC Website at the end of the France v England preview. Do you think someone from Wales working for the BBC is having a little joke? MATCH OFFICIALS Referee: Alain Rolland (France) Touch judges: Nigel Owens (Wales), John Lacey (Ireland) TV: Jim Yuille (Scotland)...

    2012 6 Nations

Ireland 32 Scotland 14 final score. Ireland very clincal in a very entertaining first half. Game went off the boil a little in the 2nd half. Donnacha Ryan was very impressive nad Rob Kearney was devasting with ball in hand again.

    2012 6 Nations

Wales closed out the game well in the 2nd half. Just one to go for the GS now. Roberts try was real class.

    2012 6 Nations

Half Time 9-3 to Wales. Poor decision making from both captains in the first half going for the corner when there were point available. Would expect Wales to pull away in the 2nd half.

    2012 6 Nations

Good response from the Welsh front row winning a pen and then the kick to touch.

    2012 6 Nations

12 mins gone 3-3. Wales as expected much the better team. But Italy have to be happy with one visit to the Welsh 22 and 3 points. Also they really monstered Wales on the scrum that lead to the pen. Wales big backs making progress each time they get the ball.

    Reds V Rebels- S15 Rd 3

The right coaches can definitely make a big impact especially if the players are willing to put the work in too. Greg Feek had a huge impact on Leinster's scrum and Anthony Foley has really turned the Munster pack around this year.

    Reds V Rebels- S15 Rd 3

Since the end of the WC the aimless kick tennis of a few years ago seems to have reared it's ugly head again. Hopefully more players willing to run it back will stamp it out again.

    Off feet at breakdown

Off the feet was consistently pinged in Ireland v France game. This game had a NH Ref but most of the first 3 rounds of the 6Ns have had SH refs so can't judge much in terms of difference in interpretation.

Waratahs v Highlanders - Super Rugby round 3

Tahs remind me of Leinster from about 5 years ago. Not a whole lot wrong with their game or personnel, but they lack that clinical ruthless streak to win the tight ones more often than not.

    Kicking away the advantage

I don't see a problem with a team going for a drop goal with penalty advantage. It's no different to a team going for a try knowing they'll come back for the pen. The only difference is one has the potential for a 5/7 point haul while the other is a max of 3 unless there's a post struck and a...

    Reds V Rebels- S15 Rd 3

Rebels can take a lot of heart from that performance. They need to work on their lineout it cost them twice for the Reds try and again when they had that chance at the end. Also backline needs to perform as a unit instead of what they look like now which is a very talented bunch of individuals...

    Reds V Rebels- S15 Rd 3

Brave call by JOC (James O'Connor) to go for the corner, but you have to kick better than that and put it closer to the try line. Then the Rebels stuff up the lineout. Game looks to be the Reds now with that pen awarded.

    Reds V Rebels- S15 Rd 3

If the Rebels played with the same hunger and intensity, as they do in the 22s, all over the pitch they'd have a real chance to nick this one.

    Reds V Rebels- S15 Rd 3

Reds getting quick ball but they're getting in each others way in their haste to score. Genia was right to quick tap that first pen as it was on for a try with the Rebels slow to reset the defence thinking they'd kick. 2nd quick tap was the wrong call though. Luckily the Rebels are giving out...

    Reds V Rebels- S15 Rd 3

Rebels are the biggest danger to themselves when they have possession in their own half, turning over the ball through simple mistakes. Well done to the Reds for taking full advantage there. Will be interesting to see the change as the Rebels try to chase the game now.
