PAE was a pretty dominant scrummaging prop in the U20s, still hoping he will kick on to be a rock at Test level. If that fails, we could always see if Dan Palmer can be lured back from Grenoble.

I think Link had no choice. The Tahs scrum practice this year is shambolic from the outside, so key technique problems that would be identified by a proper scrum coach who has time to do proper video analysis haven't been fixed. This is a shame, as the rest of the Tahs training this year...

    Wallabies v France 1st test - Suncorp 7 June

Have you read any of his other articles? His rugby knowledge is several tiers below even Growden, and he gets panned by the comments in most articles. Seems The Guardian chose a random journalist with limited rugby knowledge. Here's some other articles written showing he some grasp of...

Burgess had the same issue as Genia - average at the start of the season, finding form in the last couple of games. He still had issues with his pass as well. In my opinion Burgess would've been 4th in the pecking order. I'd say that Genia was always going to be selected as 3rd, so it means...

Not too sure about that, he could go down the Cameron Lillicrap path of averageness. But don't we need a stronger tighthead anyway, so maybe we can lure Dan Palmer back from Grenoble?

I thought that Toutai Kefu is currently coaching in Japan? Toutai coached Sunshine coast a few years ago; I think that his brother Steve Kefu is/was coaching there now.

I suspect that Skelton is in the squad more for developmental purposes and exposure to the national team. 5 locks was always overkill for this series, so I always thought that Skelton is a "developmental" player that Link wants to see more of in Link's environment. If enough injuries occur...

Unlike your choice, Slipper has been both captain and vice-captain of his province. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) just doesn't strike me as being a leader. There's more to being a captain than what you are implying. Hooper all the way for me. If you want a vc from the forwards, then Slipper would be my choice, not...

Hopefully the grey is all sold out, and not not yet opened for sales as they are waiting for more areas to sell out. Suncorp does this, for instance - if they aren't expecting a huge crowd, whole areas of the top tier are closed off and not available.

And oh yeah, Folau's stats back up his game: crazy good.

ESPN stats from last night: http://www.espnscrum.com/scrum/rugby/match/193509.html Some interesting stats there. Carter with an impressive 17 tackles, Hooper with 14, and Slipper with 9 despite playing only 62 minutes. According to ESPN stats, a lot of our missed tackles need to have...

Moore is out for up to 12 months, according to news I saw this morning. Requires a full reconstruction. Poor guy.

Yeah, squad. Charles will surely be on the bench next week.

Reserve tighthead is a worry with Alexander out.

    Wow, shocker from Phipps.

Folau sets up McCabe, and McCabe scores with his first touch. Oh, and Horwill on for Simmons as well. Simmons been struggling for a while here and there in backplay. McCabe on for Kuridrani, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13.

Lovely ball from Phipps to Hooper. Both of our locks look to be limping to me.

Beale on for To'omua, interesting call. Tahs 9, 10, 12.

He's a just like a terrier on defence. Cowan, Beale and Phipps all getting ready to come on.
