    Reds v Crusaders

My bad, McCaw was legal, thought he was the guy at the top of the maul who clearly stepped around and tackled the ball carrier at the back. No matter what McCaw did, the Crusaders player on the far side of the maul gave away a balant penalty by stepping around and tackling the ball carrier.

    Reds v Crusaders

The thing is, so many former Reds Wallabies will see their Wallaby chances go out the door with Graham as coach. Can't see many Reds even making the train on squad at this stage. So, soon it becomes a question of the board choosing between the coach and the players. Having heard of the...

    Reds 2014

They need a caretaker for a year if there are no good options. They should tell all three of them, thanks, but your services aren't required next year. Reds were a solid team. You don't turn to shit like that with even a decent coaching staff. If the board chooses Graham over the players...

    Reds v Crusaders

Yet another rubbish second half from the Reds. There's been plenty of them this year.

    Reds v Crusaders

You sure your TV is straight? He stepped around the side. Splintering or not is irrelevant - you can't step around the side.

    Reds 2014

Issue: Richard Graham. Solution: Find a new coach, sack Graham. How's that?

    Reds v Crusaders

You mean when McCaw came around the side? That was blatant and right in front of the ref.

    Reds v Crusaders

I don't know why they'd try a field position based game plan vs Dagg, especially when their kick chase is so poor. Graham has come out with it in multiple games this year in the second half. Then after one rubbish kick, they just send another one back. Mind numbingly dumb rugby.

    Reds v Crusaders

Bah, depressing. Back to the 2000s. Thanks, Graham. Your friends on the board who appointed you and refuse to deal with you can hang their heads in shame too. When the Reds get the wooden spoon this year, and their members plummet, will the board finally react?

    Reds v Crusaders

Rubbish. Loving the Reds' game plans this year, or at least the Reds' opponents must be The field possession based game plans in the second half have failed just about every time, yet they fall back to it time and time again.

Would love to know what Harris was thinking there. "I'll just kick it to the open side with no defenders and no onside chasers, then not bother to chase". Why he even thinks he could take on the Crusaders in a kicking duel is beyond me. 17 - 16 at half time, 17 - 30 after 46 minutes...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Once one of the Smith brothers comes on, the Brumbies scrum has had major, major issues. As Sio and Alexander are subbed before Moore, generally Moore is still on when the Brumbies scrum has gone to complete poo. Note that when Sio was out earlier, the Brumbies scrum struggled with Ruan Smith...

Well, Gunn didn't even make the U20s squad this year, which might hint about something with his form, too.

I would argue that Browning is a bit more of a bruiser than Quirk or Schatz. Wouldn't put him in the same group as them right now, but I agree Schatz and Quirk are pretty similar styles of player. Guess we will get to see if that is right this weekend, though.

    Reds 2015

McMahon is a different played to Gill and Gunn, though. They are opensides, McMahon is not really, perhaps Lee's "notter" describes him best with regards to playing 6, 7 and 8. I think that McMahon has more been seen as a 6/8 who can play 7. His appearances for the Rebels would seem to...

@RugbyReg what's the word on the Reds S&C coach? They've had some unfortunate turnover in recent years; have they lined up anyone for next year?

Toua is mid-20s, CFS is 20. There's a big difference. CFS is still effectively a kid growing into his body.

The result of this game may not be too pretty. :(

I was thinking Wynark Skyndard. Sweet Home Ala-Stander.

    Waratahs 2014

Just keeping it in perspective. If I was a Waratahs fan, I'd be pissed off he's going. To keep it further in perspective, Douglas was playing worse for the Wallabies last year than Horwill, and gees, Horwill wasn't playing well. As a Wallaby fan, it's disappointing to the depth of...
