Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Will it work though, Hawko. I'm reasonably confident in this 23 to meet it. Biggest issue is to tighten up through the middle. Bell, Porecki, Tupou, Phillip, Neville. As long as they are on point, so far so good.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Fist to face next time. Quickly, and without any thought of trying to let it go. You have to play by the ref's interpretations after all.

    Reds 2023

If he wants to go and has initiated proceeding, surely he is not an ideal candidate for the Reds squad. About all I can think is that the Reds do not want to see a precedent so matters are on the penalising side of things. Poor form all the same - IF as it appears, Stewart has asked for things...

Reg, your eyes must be better than mine. Text is too small for me to see "funded by DFAT".

    And that's fair enough too.

    Wallabies 2023

OK. Now I get it. Wouldn't investment from DFAT be at an arms length? I new their money was behind Drua/Fijiana but not the name. And I didn't know they were behind the Pacific Nations Cup. So plenty of strength here from Australia. Still not sure I would turn down ABA - albeit a request for...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

No, not unusual at all. You don't have to have been around here long to understand the derision I received in my support of Jock when Petaia was gifted his FB opportunity. But even I can see what was happening. Jock started the year in his preferred slot, appropriate. Petaia was given an...

Sorry Jimmy, clearly I'm being slow here. What is Pacifica's Sports relationship with Australian rugby?

    Reds 2023

If the issue is supposedly Thorn, it doesn't necessarily mean that the disgruntled players are right about it - but it sure don't look good. Those players, is their management that donkey who delights in tearing up the Reds? Some thoughts here have been very noisy about Thorn and his position...

    Wallabies 2023

Eh? I've missed that, paying for what exactly? Look, I've been very up front with my views of our involvement with the Kiwis in Super - but that doesn't mean would shouldn't be encouraging representative interaction. They may themselves decide not to play if/when we pull out of Super (can't...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Goal kicks is another area. You can always stop the clock, but if we want a premium on fitness that only does so much. I think a warning from the ref with trouble following repeated warnings.

Phil, sounds systemic rather than simply individuals chasing opportunity. Do you know the background? Just well targeted raids or something deeper?
