Pick your Wallaby team for EOYT

I'd be all for SNK at 15 for OZ, very quick, good kicking & passing game, very good under the high ball doesn't miss tackles.

    The Official Australian 7s Thread

When it's a good thing? Yeah probably, it's a fact that Aboriginals have good footwork that's why 12% of the AFL player group are Indigenous yet only 2% of the national population. I see your living in England Spliff so I can understand why you think I'm treading on shakey ground with my...

    The Official Australian 7s Thread

On the subject of Ella & sevens rugby I have just been watching the Dubai sevens on fox & our sevens side could really do with some Aboriginals. Sevens & AFL are two sports that are custom made for the Aboriginies as they love nothing better than running the ball & making defenders look...

TYS Wallaby Player of the Year

Burgess actually won it easy, when you look at the points scored by players the next bloke down is usually only .2 of a point behind yet Burgess beat Mumm by 1.54

    Brumbies 2009

I'm not just saying that on the back of the Baa Baas game but you watch any game were AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is in the frontline especially in Melbourne 07 when he put the shackles on Rico Gear. He is a very safe defender

Rate the Wallabies 2008 Spring Tour

Well we only saw him for ten minutes at flyhalf on this tour It would have been nice to have seen more but I think most people will agree that our backs probably looked sharper in that 10 minutes than any other time on tour.

Chisolm maybe. He had a very good tour.

    Brumbies 2009

Cutter, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) & Mortlock are the two best centres in the land so you play them as 12 & 13 which jersey they wear is Mortlocks choice as he is the senior player. I'd move Smith to the bench & start Mafi, no use having AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in the back 3 when he's the best defensive back in Australia. My Brumbies...

EVERYONE getting fitter and attacking more in 2009

Agreed Fatprop, I have taped all the Wallabies matches this year & in a state of Boredom I watched the Baa Baas game again yesterday followed by Bledisloe 1 in sydney. The difference in fitness was amazing to see although the matches were played under different rules the Wallabies were still...

    Quade v Kurtley

I think Barnes is the best flyhalf in the nation & by some margin also, he is far more direct than the rest & he's 1st thoughts are to create for others which cannot be said about Cooper, Beale or Giteau. I see the other 3 flyahlf contenders as elusive ball runners who create space by beating...

    Oz Injury Watch

Only really the Tahs with major injury problems but I have read on here that one of the back up props is unlucky not to be in the 22 before Dunning anyway. If Palu is out then they'll be in trouble unless they play Freier at 2 & TPN at 8. Cameron Shepherd is good to go so the Force are ok...

    New Blood

The Ab's gearshift was just having a bench, in Bris & Hong Kong we didn't. We did have a bench to go to in Europe & it paid off especially at twickers when Palu & Mumm come on & really turned the tide of that match.

Rate the Wallabies 2008 Spring Tour

I'm very happy with the overall success of the tour we won 4 from 6 & Alan Lews played a big part in the two losses. Our defence has improved since the Tri Nations & the scrum at full strength with Robinson & Baxter up front & MMM at openside was very strong. I'm hoping the backs can start...

    Baa Baas V Wallabies

Yeah he's a gun it's like having an extra backrower in defence with his hits & cleanout. Probably our best ball running back along with Mortlock. I don't know what Collins did in the 2nd half but I know he got axed big time by TPN in the 1st half. That was the hit of the season for me as the...

World XV 2008 - Tight Forward nominations

Why is that there is a shit load of looseheads to choose from & FA tightheads who are really standing out? Other than Hayman and I don't know any French or Italian props there isn't a lot to choose from compared to loosehead.

So who has played their last test? and who will struggle with the cattle back?

I'm with you on that Scarfman, I'm a huge fan of SNK I don't know why he keeps getting overlooked. Anyone could see that Tahs improved in 2008 when SNK was playing.

Ok then who else plays 3 other than Al Baxter. The beast is he a tighthead?

    Queensland Reds 2009

I'm feeling a little more upbeat about next season after the spring tour performaces of our Reds players. Quade Cooper seems to have matured from this tour I hope to see him step up another level next year & I must apologise to Noddy after I wrote of Cooper's selection in the squad as a waste...

    Alan Lewis strikes again

Not only that but Digby Ioane was tackled in the air. Not only Lewis but all the refs from this November test window have been more concerned about what the attacking team is doing at the R&M & are forgetting to watch the defending team. I do not blame Alan Lewis for the loss as it took the...
