That is a good idea I like it.

    Disco's tips

Nah I'm not doing any tipping this year. Just in the one fantasy league also. I couldn't sit back & enjoy neutral games when I was in a tipping comp so this year I'll only be supporting the Reds.

    Disco's tips

Since I'm not in a tipping comp I'll throw my thoughts out there for who I think will win in round 1 Brumbies Force Chiefs Tahs Lions Stormers Bulls Brumbies should win, judged soley on paper. Would have backed the Blues but without Kaino, Rockets & Ali Williams the Force should get...

    Boer battles !

Along with the Chiefs v Crusaders I think this will be one of the best games of the round. I'm going with the homeground advantage & will tip the Stormers by 7 or less.

    Player agents beat up player

It's easy to be a wrecking ball at 118kgs against u/20's but it's a bit tougher in the big leagues.

    Queensland Reds 2009

Yes doesn't look good for the Reds hopefully the Bulls have one of their tradtional slow starts to the season. To be honest I was only hoping for one win on this tour so if we snag either the Bulls or Sharks I would be very happy. Hopefully MMM is back next week.

    Tahs Vs Canes

The Tahs were also coached by McKenzie who wasn't known for his free flowing rugby.

    S14 Elvs?

Yep it seems they have brought that rule in, what a shame.

    Tahs Vs Canes

Brilliant backline lets hope Burgess & Beale can provide crisp service.

    S14 Elvs?

No & no. Only on the spring tour & HK Bledisloe did we play that ridiclous rule.

    Queensland Reds 2009

The report on MMM last week was he was going to be doing some heavy weight sessions to bulk up as he was feeling light & a bit understrength. Just a freshen up before the season kicks off.

    Reds v Force trial

I was at the game last night & it really was a game of two halves, Pocock & Brown seemed head & shoulders above any other forward on the park. They both seem to hit harder & play at a higher intensity. Daniel Braid looked good for the Reds in the 1st half as did Lucas except for that missed...

    PB: New Stormers Jersey

I actually prefered last years dark blue jersey more.

    brumbies v canes

This was posted by spook on page 1, i'm also interested to know the answer as he was a terrible tackler last year. If he is a serious test contender than he will have to improve about 300% on last year.

Aussies an outside chance at best.

Big Derek Hougaard the gun flyhalf from the 2003 rwc, he was famous for axing opposition outside centres especially ones from samoa.

Aussies an outside chance at best.

I suppose the Brumbies biggest weakness is the halves position, that will hurt them unless players step up.

Aussies an outside chance at best.

I agree with the Tahs being an outside bet but the Brumbies have a very strong lineup this season yet they have been overlooked. The Force are probably a stronger looking side on paper than the tahs yet the bookies have the Tahs as the best placed aussies.

Aussies an outside chance at best.

Seems the aussie sides aren't really seen as a threat by the bookies, I might check out the odds on the Brumbies at the TAB tonight surely if they can keep thier main weapons on the park.
