    QLD Premier Rugby 2020

Thing I am looking forward to most is an actual bench/stadium seat at brothers. Currently it’s such a horrible place to watch rugby as seats with a backrest is very limited and the sight lines are not good in those seats What I am not looking forward too is brothers having this bit of key...

Wow looks nice... wonder if Brothers plans to increasing their entry fee into the grounds?

Wests is the closest ground to the CBD. Closest rivalry would be UQ to Souths (albeit it’s got the brown snake between it)- closest rivalry by car would be Uq/West or Norths/Brothers My best guess is Probably a club like Easts would be the shortest travel to other clubs. Souths and Sunnybank...

I use to be of that mindset bulldog but why shouldn’t Hamish Stewart be free to pick his own club? He lives in Brisbane, trains in Brisbane and is expected to drive down there 60-90 mins each direction? It’s already idiotic that Brisbane city NRC team had to play home game at Bond Uni. A...

Good for QPR if you ask me. brothers would be premiership favourites wouldn’t you say. Something weird with super rugby season starting earlier means more reds representives in QPR during June and July. Bond University still boast arguably the best clubhouse, the surrounding community (surfers...

Hopefully we get a bit of player movement updates in coming days. Preseason rugby post Christmas break is when the seasoned veterans return to action looking to shed their Festive season bulking program.

Fantasy Rugby Draft - Super Rugby 2020

Couldn’t join. I already re-enrolled from last year and had a notification saying league was good but did you clear out last years participants?

    Reds 2020

https://www.rugby.com.au/news/2019/12/16/super-rugby-reds-thorn Brad Thorn article - touching on the preseason training and he gave 3 bolters (names to watch) I am going to guess by previous faith shown to other youngsters... these 3 names will see plenty of action over the course of the season.

    Reds 2020

I really wish rugby union had what the NFL does and that’s the combine. They bring in a bunch of prospects and test their measurables to see how they’d fair at next level. There’s a lot of great young players coming thru but I don’t know how to compare them to a guy a couple years older. If I...

    Reds 2020

So with the Reds inking Daugunu who became a Australian resident today does that open up a marquee spot for the Reds to go out and get a overseas name?

What reds commitments do Brothers have? Hoopert/Wilson/McReight/Tongan Thor. Thing with brothers is their cattle in Wilson/McReight we’re not available for big portion of last season during u20s commitments & they still crushed it. Always felt brothers can overcome the loss of reds players...

What I miss. Couldn’t read the article because of news Corp paywall. Don’t tell me he was considering Brothers? Good choice the breakers if so. #NobodyLikesBrothers

I always thought the nickname for Drahm was Dammers (slang) but Shane Drahm and Todd Dammers are 2 different people.

Yeah I believe Drahm took the Souths head coaching role... unless I am mistaken? It’s been done before. Coaching prems & gps in same calander year.

Will be interesting to see how the flow of BBC players to Souths Colts are. BBC is the form Brisbane GPS school and now Souths have hired the bbc coach.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2020

I think there could be an argument be made that playing premier club rugby will prepare players better for the physicality or super rugby then say touring with the Australia u20s and playing a bunch of minion nations at the U20s World Cup. The u20s probably have a more professional setup in...

What I like about Thorn is age is not a issue when it comes to selection. If you have the talent and right attitude you will be picked in his team.

Did you watch any NRC/Brisbane Club rugby? Paisami absolutely deserves his spot as a “uncontracted” back. if you want to bring in a schoolboy star then bring them in as well. More competition the better!
